No heat at all almost like a t12 but its t8 leaves can touch bulb all day and not burn even without a fan. Wish lights of America made these in like 350-400 watts i think my 250 magnetic ballast would fire it up. Could u imagine a 400 watt CFL veg light

Dude that would be crazy to have a 400w CFL. That's a nice light though, didn't realize it was a t8 definitely great for vegging. How much did it run you?

it is on sale at Ace Hardware for 7.50 plus tax it was like 8 and some change with tax usually it's a $30 + light

Damn, I wish I was boycotting Ace for their use/selling of neonicotinoid pesticides still. I'd go pick one of those up real quick
