My New Roomates

yea i bet it wasnt easy on them, why didnt you just finish this grow in soil then do your hydro grows? are the leaves yellowing evenly across the leaves with the veins yellowing too OR is the tissue between the veins yellowing first and the veins remain green and yellow last?

I went to hydro mid grow because I had to transplant anyways so I thought why not give it a try. Its all a learning experience anyways. If I lose em oh well, Ill just start new. The entire leave turns yellow. Wasnt sure how to answer your question.

Heres some info:
Containers:
PH ppm temp
6.8 756-853 74-77
Large Res:
PH ppm temp
5.9 493 73

Temp inside grow tent 79
Humd inside grow tent 50

The roots have not grown through the bottom of bucket so there not sitting in solution yet so I assume I should run the pumps 24/7.

the first pic is an Mg deficiency, you see how the tissue between the veins is yellowing but the veins remain somewhat green? pic 2 is an N deficiency, see how the whole leaf is yellowing evenly including the veins? which one would you say closest describes your leaves?

I would say the whole leaf is turning yellow like the 2nd picture. Thanks for the visual, that helps. :-P

cool, Mg and N deficiencies dont always present themselves like that, but in my experiences they are the two most common def's.

Ive shut everything down. Ive cleaned everything and going to start new. Also going to make some mods to my waterfarms. Im going to start with white widow, bc ice, juicy fruit or maui. Not sure yet. Im also going to downgrade my 1000w to a 600 because of my lack of space.
