damn eluchupa, may the culprit be given levels of pain no mortal can withstand, one who did this bad to the plants. Im sure u;ll find a way out soon./

update on my landrace sativa is they now have single very thin leaf growing at many nodes, semi white green things... are they buds forming ??

or just the two thin fingers that always exists at every node of cannabis plant/

i dont have money for a gram of hamster dung, just got a superbike and got hit by a car while driving mine, double whammy to the wallet
i'll just see if covering them from the outside world with a plastic box works.

MEANWHILE, long overdue pictures

my nice big white satin bud (its from the safari mix but i called it white satin from the beginning for kicks and subconsciously the name
stuck), weighed 12.5 gms dry, the buds were unbelievably dense and furrrrry. smelled like tooti frooti, not so much until the buds were
broken up, then the stench would fill a room in under a minute. ridiculously peaceful functional high, but had a nice couchlock to it
towards the end as well. high lasted very long and nice. total yield from the plant was about 37 grams, harvested at 50/50 mliky/amber
the only way to describe the taste was 'fruit oil', that was the only one that made sense to me and a few friends, because it was fruity,
but the smoke was so thick and dense and had an oily aftertaste.

These next are pictures of my more recent (about a week ago) skunk harvest. it's from the walkabout, and it smells like skunk and nothing
else. that rotten dirty smell. so skunk it is. beautiful crystals on the buds, i just smoked the first dried bud without curing and it's by
far the most potent pot i've ever smoked...the high is unbelievable. a roller coaster on the ocean of nature's ecstasy. the taste is
unbelievable and spicy fresh, on blowing out the second drag i realized the high had already started kicking in and one drag later,
i was like, damn this is some badasss weed. i cant tell you how the high flattens out later cause i'm pretty damn baked...will do later though.
beautiful weed, why did i forget and let this one get rootbound, fml...
wound up with just an ounce dry as a result. fmfl. i only post pics of the biggest buds because that's all that's really relevant when you're
seeing em online lol..harvested the skunk at about 75/25 milky/amber
smells so crazy even from the other end of the room untouched. beautiful smell of pungent marijuana

biggest skunk cola, 11 grams dry
IMG_0338.jpgIMG_0322.jpgIMG_0309.jpg

in love with my friend's camera, beautiful 4 year old canon d450, with a plethora of lenses...what beautiful
pictures. the clarity is ridiculous, to check if trichs are ready i just need to take a picture and load it on my comp and zoom in.
which i did with this and white satin and the next plant, also cut on the same day as skunk a week ago and sampled today...
quite a runt of a plant (possibly due to being vegetated during the hottest summer we've had in 14 years with half the days
above 40C).

the next plant is blue widow, only lsting so i got about 4 gram dry buds
and like 5 of them and then a smaller 3 gram bud i think this is the small
bud in the picture. man this shit is frosty. couchlocked and brain struck
is the way this stone is to me. physically 'high' and mentally 'awry'.
23 grams dry, what a bummer.
BLUE WIDOW CAN NOT TAKE HOT WEATHER. not sure exactly of the limit,
but apparently 40c is a few c too many.
nice smoke and sour fruity taste. a great evening smoke imo

Elchupacabra, way to go brother! I am elated to see more like minded people in our country. Started reading your thread a few days back and finally finished today. Your journey has been truly inspiring.
That being said, SPIDER MITES! What worked best for you to get rid of these sap sucking fuckers?! I'm confused if neem oil or tobacco sprays are appropriate when the plant has started to flower. Also read salt water sprays are effective but are toxic to the plant aswell..
Another thing, read that you were interested in aquiring some hydroponic nutes. You don't necessarily have to spend a fortune and order them over seas. They are available domesticaly aswell.

Sir, it would be very helpful if you could share with us where to get hydro nutes. :)

i get all my organics from garden guru in bulk...as for their hydroponic nutrients, there are a few
more formalities than meets the eye, talk to the owner and ask for them in bulk and you'll understand,
at least if he tells you what he told me.

recvd. my seeds today

point of no return (henceforth PNR) (mandala) - 10 reg
lambo (TH seeds) - 2 reg

also have 30 seedlings of landraces going, from a fairly decent score that was really bombing but clearly had ways to go in terms
of flowering, so i took the good ones and planted them, germed 35/40 (half in coco peat, the other half soaked in water and
transferred to coco peat after a 1" taproot) and oddly enough 4/5 of the ones that got fucked were soaked in water. i'm pretty sure
i didn't fuck it up, i use sterile tools and uniform germination conditions. out of the 35, 5 stretched ridiculously, like way way too much
to be stable and it didn't go with the height of the bulbs so i threw em out. after 5 days of 24/0 lighting from seed, which is abt 2 days
of light after the seed broke ground) i'm keeping em outdoors in a protected environment.
planted 2 of the lambos as well, so far, sticking the soil in moist coco peat works for me

I wouldn't know as I don't live nearby. I only checked out thier site where there's an option to buy 100 litres in a go.
Anyway, any ideas for the mighty mites?

i just foliar spray with neem oil/amino acic/humic acid/liquid seaweed/castings tea till halfway through flowering. the plant is then able to hold the mites off for another 2 - 3 weeks tops, after which they return, but by then there's only 1 week left, and the plant has enough resistance to keep the population low till i harvest it. seems to work decently. however, i'm going to try spraying with tobacco extract to see if it works.

Ya, I was thinking of doing the same thing too.. But is tobacco extract available in the market? From what I read, people had suggested soaking tobacco of a few cigarettes in half a litre of water overnight to prepare a spray..
And I bought some neem oil from a chemist (not a garden supply store) and there is no word about the concentration or strength on the label. Its some brand named RSG. Any suggestions as to how much is to be diluted in what quantity of water to prepare a spray?

neem oil is insoluble with water directly
save yourself the trouble and buy a neem oil spray
yes, that's what i meant by tobacco extract

and when the water cools down it's not as useful again. also it doesn't stick to the leaves if foliar fed and mixed with just water

Okay so i figured out how to prepare a neem spray (since i cant find it nearby). Neem oil is insoluble in water on its own BUT add a drop or two of liquid soap and voilá, magic!
Also elchup, you seem to be a fan of mandala seeds, what made you choose mandala? I saw that your grow with kalichakra went well but what about the safari mix, how did that go? Cz you dont even exactly know what you are getting in the safari mix. But its really the best option if one is on a budget.

okay, moving past the spam, my kali chakra was christened the name - by me. lol i called it kali chakra based on growth
patterns and confirmed it was tending to a taste as described online, as well as the high. it was from the safari mix and
since the safari mix consists primarily of crosses between white satin and kali chakra, i figured i couldn't be too far off.
the safari mix is awesome, when you get 20 seeds of F1 generation crosses, you can expect 1/3 to be better than the
parents, 1/3 to be worse, and 1/3 to be around the same quality. that's still on average about 12-13 quality seeds per
packet of safari mix. works for me

Its still a great bargain. What site do you order from? And what about stealth shipping? Cz i've heard people abroad get notices from customs at times. Though I doubt that would be the case here but still. You think its safe to get the delivery at one's own residence?

i would also strongly advise mr.nice's walkabout strains, while mandala's seem to carry a strong fruity aroma, the walkabouts are more spicy and full flavoured. it's hard to pick between the two as it's mainly a matter of preference...my next pack of seeds will either be dinafem (wanted to try out feminised seeds) or mr.nice shit (aka skunk #1). shipping's stealthy, without opening two layers of packing nobody wil know what's inside...

All good breeders definitely, and the strains sound tasty. I'm off to India next week El. PM me if you happen to be in the south goa area over the next month or so and fancy organising a taste test ;) hehe
