Hey guys I have just started my first real growing I have kind of started a perpetual harvest without even realizing it;-) I got a unknown strain off a mate its heavy Indica dom. My veg is under a Induction high bay light and my flowering is under 400watts sont-agro in a 3x3ft wooden crate. In the next couple weeks I may swap the induction for one of my 400w mh lights. Im still early in my growing so I have a lot to tinker with to get it running smooth:eyesmoke: The key to a good perpetual grow is timing as I have been finding out. Heres some pics of my eldest girl in flower ima give her 3 weeks more before chop.112_0264.jpg112_0269.jpg112_0268.jpg112_0262.jpg112_0257.jpg112_0256.jpgI wont be harvesting this one early as I stupidly did the one before this one:wall: (thinking what she could have been:-() Will get some photos of the rest later on today.

Well its a Induction highbay light meant for factory's etc. And was actually free I found it in a skip out the back of a suermarket that was relacing their old hids with t5fluorescents. But I don't know why they threw the induction They had only just put it in a month or so earlier because I noticed when they put it up thinking "wow that light is bright I want it". This is what it looks like 250w.jpgthis. Its 250w and 6500k Its not the best shape for growing with the shade being round and it doesn't disperse the light wide enough:sad: I think I will use it for a mother and use a 400w for veg.

Thanks BEECH. Did you see the deficiency in that last photo? Potassium deficiency I believe. Its due to the fact im using tap water (here it can be as high as 8.5 and as low as 5. I am going to start collecting rain water from now on.

How close has that plant been to the light source........Kinda looks like bleaching from the light.
Have you been Ph ing the water? Locking out alot of nutes with PHs like those.

I don't think it would be bleaching as they have only been under a induction lamp and there is only a couple with the problem. And no I haven't phd my water at all, I am going to set up a rain water collecting system today.

I think you could have actually been right;) I had a good look today and noticed it was really quite close to my plnts oops.. I moved it up a good few inches. guess I under estimated the power of the light. Seems like I don't have to go far to get good advice.

Id say longer than two weeks, don't really see any brown/orange hairs there, and as a rough guide you got two weeks of flower and a weeks flush from the first appearance of brown hairs.

How long have you been flowering (days since pistils first appeared)?
2+ weeks is a good rough estimate.

Plants look good & healthy! and green!! some of the darkest, greenest leaves I have seen! (might be a bit too much N??)

Thanks:joint: I have a few brown hairs over the place mostly on the lower buds. But you can still see a lot of growth at the top of the buds.

I lost track of when I started flowering this one but would be no less than 5 and a half weeks. And yes maybe too much nitrogen I don't feed a lot but my tap water I was using had crazy ph levels so that could lead to more nitrogen uptake.

Okay so I have started noticing now that I am using collected rain water to water all of my plants I have been getting a lot of fungus gnats:wall:
I started noticing them because I use to have 99% success rate with my clones (just dipped in clonex and in a mix 70/30 Pumice-peat base potting mix)
Now all of my clones are dying I struggle to get one to survive:sad: They are eating out the stems and rotting them.
What can I do to filter my water?
