Outdoors, I could never get sativa's to finish and I went to December with one. The problem is, even without rain and the threat of fungus, the ground continues to get colder and the plant just stops.

Same. I had a hoop house last year that I kept two fans going pretty much non stop from the middle of Aug. to the last week of Oct. to try to prevent mold and other issues. I wish I would of had the space to move it indoors and allow it turn run longer.

Nice huge colas @farmingfisherman !What strain is this? How long does it vege until it shows sex?

I am also growing sativa landrace too, I germinate it on 21st of may and grow its first true leaf on 31. And I have toppped it after 5th node to keep it short. It didn't show sex until now
I vegged all 5 plants I grew for 2 1/2 months. They all showed sex within 10 days of going 12/12. The sativa (side show bob) ended up running for nearly 130 days. Honestly I'm a total newbie so I'm not sure if how it turned out since I didn't have anything to compare it to. The buds dried hella quick (likely to quick) but are very smokeable. The structure is unlike anything I've grown, I can smoke all of the cola minus a few small fan leaves that are buried deep inside them. The smell is a mix of pine, fruit and fuel smell. The high is soaring but not speedy, it allows for simply mundane chores to be done in a lively manner but with moments of almost trippiness when you catch yourself focusing to deeply. It's great with morning coffee pulling weeds in the garden watching the birds and staring at the clouds thinking about the day which lies ahead. Can't really go off weight for the harvest more like volume because of its fluffiness. I give a cola to a friend and it fills a standard sandwich bag but weighs nearly nothing. If a person was selling it you'd have to come up with something other than weight in deciding a price, maybe consider the time spent growing and energy costs involved. According to a friend it's likely a cross of RKS, Central American Sativa and maybe old school thai stick.
