My plant may be a goner

Man, this cotton candy kush was looking good outside, until about 2 weeks ago.
It was on a stand, and it toppled over on a windy day . Just hasn't looked right since, and with this latest heatwave, I think this thing is done. Any idea what is wrong? Just curious at this point. Root damage?

Just want to be able to learn from this screw up.

A pic from the 10th and today. :(

Damn! What a sad sight to see. Wish I had some advice for ya. Just wanted to offer my condolences.
Man.... What a kick in the balls when I looked out the window and my plant was laying on the ground with a few cracked branches and roots popped out.

Thank you. This is brutal. Newbie grower, but this was a really healthy plant and my biggest ever

That pot looks way too small for that size plant. What size is it?
5 gallon. I thought that may be part of the problem. I was thinking of transplanting it, but don't have anything bigger at the moment. Wife also used my last bag of soil... Cuz yeah. Of course she did

I should essentially over water it?
It might be stressed from tipping over and not drinking as much but normally a plant that size in a small pot like that, would need water atleast once a day.
Also, make sure you completely saturate the pot.

since her roots popped out.. she may be stunted bad on top of the starving look she wears... try maybe putting her in a 7-10 gal pot with fresh soil and a nice feeding.

RIP

Threw it out today. The soil around the roots looked like charcoal colored sand. Totally dry while all the rest of the soil was moist. Roots weren't lumped up around the bottom of the plant, and they weren't all balled up on the sides either.
