ok, havent updated in a while so here goes. my 1st harvest was....blah and this one is shaping up to be even worse. 5.6 ounces wet so around 1.4 or more dry.:-( then i only have 1 more harvest to go before all the damaged crops are out of rotation. but anyway here's what it looks like now in the op. lots going on and just retired 2 moms and have 6 more growing in their place. i'll be ritiring 2 more in a few weeks.

but i must say that it looks nice in there now. not barren

shitty ass camera. this is one of the bigger ones minutes before harvest.

this is a wide shot....front is gettin chopped and right behind it are the last stunted ones.

and these are perfect. budding growing not stunted or overpruned. but wont be ready till december.:-(

and as wide as i can get .....all my girls and 2 mommas i retired today.

here are the 6 that will replace all my ,mums in a month

and i'm sure you'll all be happy to know that i am back to not being able to clone worth a damn. these are all 20 days old. i just dont understand.:cuss:

here they are chopped and laid out.

these are the biggest ones.....whoopdeedoo

a lil close up of a "big" one.....lol

anyway there you go. lemme have it guys. but know this. i made these mistakes that caused these sub-parr buds 6 weeks ago.:wall:

Bugs can you go over the whole mother rotation thing? How large (tall) do you let your mothers get? Also where did you get the neoprene plugs and inserts for your aerocloner? Nice grow even though you said they were misfits.

well, i take clones from the mums and veg them out for about 6 weeks. then they are ready to have cuttings taken from them. take cuttings every 2 weeks and root them in the aerocloner or whatever you use and repeat as needed. mine are about 9 months old so i'm a lil late. my mentor replaces his every 3 or 4 passes of cuttings ....i got lazy and couldnt just kill em.

i'm not sure how tall they are at 6 weeks....mine a 4 foot tall now

Also where did you get the neoprene plugs and inserts for your aerocloner?
ye olde hydro shop for a quarter a piece. and .50 for the 2" net pots they sit in.

Nice grow even though you said they were misfits.
thank you
i hope this helps

Yep thx. I found Als thread about the 2 week rotation. Does he think the mothers get weak genetically (i.e., weak clones), so he picks one of the clones from the mother and makes a new mother, flowering the old mother?

Man... Bugs... I am thoroughly impressed... very nice grow...

So the 1.4oz was out of one plant that had been ... uh ... tampered with?

So I guess my 1.2 out of those miniature are not bad eh?!

And yeah I will do a long cure on this one....

It turned out very acceptable by anyone's standards... and I have company from South America coming up in December...

So I figured, it's not that much... might as well cure fully, and wait to smoke it with my friends.... but I am not dry.. yet.. lol....

Oh, and about 25 of 32 seeds cracked in that thing... and all of the tap roots are finding the way down on their own... that plug is very porous... I hope I like working with this...

Well.. cheers guys...

he doesnt think they lose any genetic strength but he feels that they lose vigor....mine are 9 months old and bounce back from cuttings like nobody's bizz.....and yes that is how he replaces them except he does not have a flowering chamber for the moms....he murders them.

thanks a lot....really.

WTF happened? table overflow? Sorry to hear about the trouble Bugs

ok, so i might have been a little overdramatic......one of the overflow return lines on my 20 gallon res was sitting outside the edge of the tub and draining onto the floor......easy fix, just made me feel dumb.:dunce:

carpet soaked up a lot of moisture so the humidity is apeshit but i put a space heater in the room to raise ambient temps and im going to wally world mananna to buy a dehumidifier. and the mold ws just for dramatic flare.... nothing's dead ;-)

Bugs, I need your help...

You know what happens when they let us hippies in the grow shop with a little cash...

We get all kinds of toys we have no idea how to use...

I got a Hanna Grocheck pH & TDS/EC monitor... just like the one on the photo...

I have a pH probe, a TDS probe and a Ground probe... the 4th wire is the power...

When I am calibrating, what do I need to do with the ground probe?

Does it need to be in the calibrating solution with the probes? Both pH and TDS?

I have no idea, man...

Thanks...!!!!

Thanks man...

So just leave the ground hanging dry or in my res?

It is supposed to auto compensate for temp, but it does not tell me.. no temp indicator...
