Pulled the girls out to take the extra T5 out of the middle of the bottom of our table. The buds have gotten a lot of help from it, but we decided to take it out since its near the end of flowering and it was burning some of our foliage.. not to mention making it twenty times harder to water. So here's some pics of all the girls enjoy.

I mean she will bark at anything but she's a runt and not very vicious when it comes down to it. Dillinger huh...back in the day my homies rottwiler was named daz after daz dillinger he was awesome.

thanks appreciate it shaggy340. i love the last 3 weeks of flowering. especially the days after i add shooting powder. my odyssey has fucking got huge the last few days. all of them have grown but the odyssey seems like it has doubled the last week or so.

Today is day 47 of flowering. We've decided we're going to pull one of each strain at day 56, and then one of each strain around day 60-63 [depending on trich colorations] to see if there is much difference in yield and/or high. The buds are swelling more every day, the calyxes on the Querkle are huge. Afgooeys couldnt be more covered in crystals. And the Blueberry top cola formations are crazy.. post pictures in a couple days.

IMO check the trichs and harvest accordingly. Premature herb is less good in almost every single way. Not to say none of them will be done in 8 weeks just let em finish up and they reward you with fatter better tasting buds.

I definitely know this. Strains have about a week long window of optimum thc content, i've done my research on all of the strains in my cloest, and all of them are basically within the same window. That is why we are pulling some earlier in the time allotted and some later. Some strains, such as my Orange Crush in my last grow, breeders suggest pulling it earlier to get a certain potency in the high. But thanks for the heads up and lookin out!

I am not positive but I think that grape romulan might be dj shorts grap krush by romulan but again you could be right too. I know that harvesting earlier will get a more head high but in my experience the head high is very speedy and paranoa inducing IMO. It also just doesn't last as long (luckily) if i were you I would maybe try harvesting at about 50% amber trichs and than 75% amber trichs but as long as your not pulling in them when all the trichs are clear you'll be fine I hate weed with white hairs and or small underdevoped trichs doesn't taste good or gfet me stoned.

When the trichomes turn amber that means that the THC is disintegrating, the best time to harvest is when there's only about 25% trichs amber and the rest are milky white. When trichs are milky white that is when they are at the highest THC potency. I definitely check them, and im not gonna pull one of em if they seem like it's way too early.. i was just kinda settin up what we're plannin

And thanks for the information on the Grape Rom!!! We couldnt find ANYTHIIIIIIING on it, so we kinda just assumed that was what it was, plus the guy we got it from said he thought that was what it was and he wasn't sure. That would be sick though, i have Big Book of Buds 3 and Grape Krush is in there, that would be an amazing hybrid.

Its hard to get motivated to send pictures to the computer from your phone for like 2 hours [it takes FOREVER], but when i know people are lookin at em and giving me feedback it makes it worth it.

Kinda differs from person to person and preferance, but I see your logic there as long as the ones that aren't amber aren't still undeveloped.

Yeah definitely, i learned all i know from reading many books and doing research. Jorge Cervantes' Horticulture Growing Bible ...or whatever the official title is..is the all time most intelligent grow book[IMO], gave me that information. Underdeveloped trichs are clear, when trichs are at their prime they are a milky white color. When trichs begin turning amber the thc in them is disintegrating. But there's like.. no way you can avoid amber trichs because if you pull it when the first amber one shows up the rest will be underdeveloped. I try to pull mine with as many milky white trichs as possible. It's definitely preference also though. Gonna go take some pics of the babies and update the other journal.. maybe throw a few up here. Check it out.

so today when the light was supposed to turn on in my flowering room it didnt. tried putting my mh bulb in. figured out my Galaxy ballast went out after only 1 1/2 grows. so FUCK galaxy. i ran to the hydro store and picked up a CAP 600/400 digi ballast. cost me sooo much. 280 bucks after tax. my only other option for digi ballast was another 400 watt galaxy. or a 600 watt lumatek and that was 230 bucks. after the 600 bulb it would of been 320 dollars or so. so in reality it was my cheapest option. ive wanted to pick 1 of these 600/400 ballasts up. but not for that price. my next grow i may be switching to the 600 if i pick up a new bulb. but i kinda think my room may be to small. so ill probably build a 5x5 room or so and put a 4x4 tray in it. then i could grow everything i have. not throw 1 out.
