Well this is my second crop, doing a couple things different.
Using the same 1000W HPS, but I've added a 6" air cooled hood.
Added a thermostat controller for my fans (question on this coming up)
I have 9 plants in 5 Gal pots. (planted last week, clones were in pretty rough shape when i got them)
I'm fairly sure this single 1000W should be enough for these 9 plants when they get larger?
Also, as of right now I only have my 4" fan on the thermostat controller, if I were to have both fans (extraction) hooked to the controller there would be no air exchange during lights out. Is this a problem? I do have an oscilating fan on constantly. I dont want to have the fans on all the time if I dont need them, so will i run into any problems without air exchange during dark periods.
I picked up a green spectrum CFL so I can enter the room during dark periods....anybody have experience with this? I definitely do not want to deal with hermie problems!

Also I had an extra clone so I'm vegging it in a small cup beside my CFL lamp under 24 hr light, and it seems to be quite happy!
