My Summer Indoor Harvest

Here are some pictures of this summers indoor harvest. I harvested Dinafem White Widow, Seedsman White Widow, DNA Hash Plant Haze, Barneys Farm Blue Cheese, and Green house Super Lemon Haze Cannabis cup winner x2. All of the plants looked awesome throughout the grow, but right at the end i got a little mold on the Superlemon haze and had to sacrifice its main cola, sigh. I got pictures of the drying and curing process and some in between. I took clones from each and am going to try to do some hydro and some more soil plants. These were all done in soil. These pictures show from the last week of the plants lives through the trimming process all the way to the curing in jars. Take a peek. :joint::shock:

Oh yea That brownish hash in a Tin I did not make, I wish I did. Person I got it from claims its from bubble bags. I never get anything like that when I make it.

More pictures of right before i Harvested I took them in day light.

very nice harvest...im jealous of all the space you have...just one question why did you leave the buds on the stems as they entered jars for curing???

Well first off I do not know of any perfect way to cure, but I try to keep the buds as large as possible while curing and I believe I read in a book the steams can continue to help draw nutrients or something from the bud even as they cure to reduce any harsh taste, but that may be just a myth. Most of the small buds i did remove the stem from, but all the large buds i tried to cut them to fit into the jar instead of tearing the bud away from the stem. I actually only have 2 areas to grow in a 4x4x6.5ft grow tent and a closet about the same size. I dried the buds in the grow tent and on that rack i hung in it. One problem is the grow tent is in a basement so it prob contributed to the mold i got.

Also I think I got mold in my SL haze because the bud grew into my grow light and got burned. I should of cut it off and let it regrow, but i let bud regrow around the burnt bud, and it was placed closest to my intake vent which vents in Cold AC. Apparently Cold air and burnt bud is perfect for growing mold as cold air has more humidity even tho my meter read 50% in the grow tent. So be careful with the air conditioning and positioning of plants and over watering and light burning. As those probably contributed to my SL haze mold.

87, nice looking plants/harvest. Concerning you mold issues, from my experience leaving the stems on like you did almost certainly contributed to mold growth. I used to do the same thing, leaving stems on and curing. Everytime I did this I would get mold growth no matter how vigilant I was about burping etc. As your bud cures look at the cut ends of the stems where they were cut, you'll probably notice that the end turned a little black, thats mold begining to grow! I thought that this was BS too, but as soon as I cut all/most of the stem material away from buds this ended my mold problems. Needless to say I no longer leave stems on and my mold problems are totally gone.

ya i work outta a basement as well but i leave tons of windows open and always circulating air...and i doubt that mold on 2 buds outta that harverst is going to get to you too much because you still have a ton of bud! +++rep

Thanks for all the info and rep everyone. I will cut all the buds from the stem. Tho my problem began in the last few weeks of the actual grow I believe.

Also if anyone knows how I can make bubble hash like the picture of the stuff I acquired Id really like to know, I have bubble bags and trim. Never comes out like that tho

Started to Toke on this home grown and its really good! Especially the Blue Cheese and Hash plant Haze. I think the SL haze would have been the best if the Main cola hadnt got mold.
