MY WHOLE CROP IS DYING, using earth juice and having serious problems. lower is worst

Here are pictures of whats happening to my plants. the very top new fan leaves look healthly and large but the whole rest of the plant is getting droopy, stale smelling, black and brown blotches all over the plants before the whole leaf breaks off at the stem.
the plant's are kind of bare other then the fanleaves because it looks like all the nodes have baby leaves growing out where new branches should be forming.
I checked the PH with my crappy meter and it reads 6.7 but its not a super accuarate meter but it seems like its right in the right range.
I feed with Earth juice grow, earth juice bloom, earth juice catalyst , and earth juice meta-k and earth juice, and a few drops of calmag and once a month I add in microblast. I let my water sit out for a at least 4 days before using it.
Can somebody please help me

Are you bubbling the EJ?

How much and how often for the Meta-K?

The Grow and Bloom?

Is there any lime in your mix?

What is the mix?

Got plenty of drain holes in those pots? Drainage in general?

Looks overwatered , maybe nute lockout, to me. Really need more info to troubleshoot your problem.

Addaquate drainage (drain holes ) in those home made pots?
Overwatering?
What kind of lighting and how close to the plants?
How old are the plants, maybe too much in the way of nutes for their age.
What kind of soil. Most plants in soils do not need to be fed for 4 to 6 weeks as they get plenty of nutrition from the soil.
They will not need any aditional, or at least minimul, feeding until weeks 6 to 8 of their life. Most newbees overfeed and
overwater thinking that if a little works then a lot will work better.
What temperatures are they kept at, overheating this time of year is common. Shoot for 70 to 78 deg.

Bugs? Mold? Treatment for the same?

Need more info

they are in half gallon milk jug containers.
i water ever 5 days when the soil is completly dry
i use 1-2tablespoon of grow , 1teaspoon of bloom, 1teaspoon of catalyst , 1 teaspoon of meta-k and 1/6 teaspoon of calmag per gallon every other watering with 1 teaspoon of microblast added into the mix every 4th watering.
I do not bubble because I dont know what that means, Im using foxfarm ocean mix soil
I have plenty of holes in the bottom with good drainage
they are over 5-7 weeks old
temp is usally between 70-82%
Im not using lime in any way
im using greenlite 26w cfl bulbs with a reflector , I know 8 plants is a bit much for this but Im just starting to change to 12/12 for a week or 2 so I can sort out the males then go back to 20/4 and still have a good amount of plants

there are two problems heres pics.... ok the dead spots are Phosphorus deficiency
example:View attachment 1746237

and your plant is lime green, and the lower leaves are yellowing, it will slowly crawl up your plant..... that is called N deficiency. the lime green is an early indicator.
example 2:View attachment 1746243View attachment 1746245

a healthy plant is darker, but not darker then a green crayola crayon but close to it.

you need to feed her, 1/2 strength is best (900-1500ppm) any higher or lower will result in slower and smaller growth, good luck man.

ok, but doesnt earth juice have phosphorus and nitrogen in them? am I not feeding them enough or am I not adding something I should.
other then "1-2tablespoon of grow , 1teaspoon of bloom, 1teaspoon of catalyst , 1 teaspoon of meta-k and 1/6 teaspoon of calmag per gallon every other watering with 1 teaspoon of microblast added into the mix every 4th watering." what am I not adding that im getting these deficientcys? what am i doing wrong? thank you

Bro why are you letting the water sit around for 4 days untreated? It would gather pathogens in this time which could be diseasing your plants.

yes , Im going to do that asap. I never had problems like this until I tried sqeezing so many plants into a small space, its been one problem after another when you use smaller pots
Well, you just answered one of your questions yourself.

BEFORE you upcan, snag some dolomite lime, powdered or pellets, ~$5 for a 40lb bag at Lowes or HD. Add 2tbl/gallon of mix, or 1cup/cf of mix. This will keep your pH buffered in the proper range and supplys cal/mag. It's pretty much a necessity using a peat based mix like FF and EJ, both of which are pretty acidic.

Do the Meta-K 1/2 as often as you are. A little goes a long way with that stuff.

*Bubbling* is mixing up your EJ, putting it in a 5 gal bucket or similar and using an airstone and aquarium pump to bubble it for 24-72 hrs. This is what really brings EJ out and gets it going. There are a couple of very helpful threads on EJ in the organics section.

I would have to say that you have a potassium deficiency also know as,"the rust". It can lock out other nutrients causing your plant to slow down. You basically just overnuted them,i'd flush your medium thoroughly with ph balance water 3 times the amount of your medium in gallons. I wouldn't worry about your problem too much I've seen decent flowering under these conditions but if you are worried i'd flush it,then wait 3-4 days to renute them. Oregon The Chronic State. goodluck.

also, roots dont like light.
it lets algae grow on them, competing with the roots for nutrients.

so basically, yet another reason to transplant.
ps, listen to Wetdog, i have learned alot from his posts. much respect.

hey dont mean to jack the thread but i got a little bit of the same problem only on one of my plants but i thought i burnt it early on with shitty soil with time release shit, all i use is earth juice bloom(0-3-1), and pure blend pro(3-4-2) veg by bonticare one of mine has the lower growth yellowing and dying off top is new and fresh green and healthy as fuck been using it for clones mostly lol. but i dont think it would be phosphorus deficiency because well thats the main NPK in the bloom, i am sorta a newbie but if anything i would suggest yes: 1: instead of bottles use milk crates , lined with a garbage bag of course, throw in a lil bit of cut up banana peal, on one and see if it helps if so its potassium, then take 3 green not messed up leafs and throw them in another resulting in organic nitrogen, see if they work :) gl

The problem with leaving your water sit for too long is that it will also lose it's oxygen content if it sits too long without any movement...and, you might be overfeeding, and your pots are too small.

I totally agree with rawbudzski. I always grew in half gallon jugs and could never make it past week two in flower without it going to crap. I jumped to 3 gallon smart pots and Ive not had the yellowing problem since then.
