well i can tell you one thing for sure i wont commit suicide. i love my children very much and im doing all i can to stay positve. now when my ex wife picks the kids up on friday for the whole week thats really is going do be my biggest and hurdest time to deal with. im not the type who likes to be alone i have always had someone their i got with my first wife when i was 17 and we didnt split untill 3-4 yrs ago then i meet my new wife and now she is gone so lonelyness is not one of my 4tays so this week by myself is gonna kill me ( not literally ) but a very depressing week nether the less. its not like i got anything to do or some where to go to take all this shit off my mind! im sorry yall i dont mean to keep typeing like this i!ll stop for a bit and check out a different thread or something! everyone stay cool!

If you think about it logically.... women get a lot of things when there is a split because typically the husband is the bread winner who brings in the most income in the relationship and when marriage after many many years ends there is something called "Spousal support" which is similar to child support, but is basically for a person to collect if they were dependant on their spouse to eat and have a roof over their head. Unfortunately, its not often that the guy stays at home or makes less than the woman, so if you look at it from a realistic perspective.... its just that way because of the way society is today and because many guys still think the wife should stay home and take care of the kids while he works and brings in the money. I should also add that should a guy be in the same position as a woman and the wife was the breadwinner he could collect spousal support and would recieve many of the same othere rights women recieve during a divorce. problem is...its very rare that the guy isn't the breadwinner.

Also, the reason things are split in divorces is because when you get married you're looked at as all your posessions being equal and therefore must be split. often times one party will just want the divorce to be finalized so they may agree to give the other everything or give the other specific things that they own together to complete the process faster.

It may seem like everything is so "unfair" and "biased" towards women, but if you actually evaluate the way things work you may notice that its mostly becaus the situation is always the same where the woman doesn't make as much as the man and he was the person who paid the bills.

if you were the stay at home father and your wife made the money and you were to get a divorce then depending on the circumstances you could get support from her for a limited time. there are a lot of stipulations though to collecting spousal support.

also, other things factor into how much women or men get. Typically in divorce there is infidelity. it really works against you in a court of law and judges will always favor the one who was cheated on. Thats why its important to keep your dick in your pants and either be married or dont be married, but dont double dip.

since i have cosody of my kids i get child suppord from my ex wife.( well im soposed to ) unfurteionetly she has to go to court next mounth cuz she has not sent these kids a dime! but its funny cuz every time i see her she has a new cel phone or a phat sack of weed! she got money for all this other shit but not her kids! im not tryin to knock her but come on now! if i can take care of the kids all the time and put what little money i do get towrds them then she can give a little something! peace out yall

Thought I would give you a little info from experiences with child support. Shit I should know a little I've been paying it since I was 15.

She will get hers when the time comes. Were I'm at the CSA are all Nazis. They will throw you in jail, take your drivers licence, and take your tax return to pay back child support. They should go back to the day you split with your ex and make her pay from their. So she will start out being behind. Again this is from were I'm at, they will only let you miss 1 payment before they are looking for you. If they can't find you there will be a warrent. I know ppl that had to run from a child support warrent like it was a murder rap.

well i was awarded cosody last year. and i dont know what the hold up was but she was only soposed to start payin 4 mounths ago $50 bucks a mounth for 3 kids and she caint even pay that aint that some shit. thats 50 4 all 3 kids not 50 per child! i dont know why its so low for! but she is still 4 mounths behind so i dont know what they well do in court when she goes! peace out!

It's so low because she is the woman. Welcome to the judicial system. I'm going through kind of the same thing.

$50 a month? Thats rediculous for ONE kid...let alone 3 kids. She doesn't sound like a very good mother....and obviously the court deemed you more fit to be a parent than her, but I cant believe its so low. I would guess its because she has little or no income coming in?! still that is very low.

I know plenty of people who make minimal money at "dead end" jobs and they are paying like $200-500/month which is like close to 1/3 of their income.

I also know my father was required to pay $900 a month for me and I was his only child.
