Mycorrhizal root stimulants?

Anyone in the forum have experience with using these type of Bio-stimulants? I've seen outstanding results with nursery stock, annuals, perrenials, transplants, turf etc. Not sure if I want to go with the Endophyte or Ectophyte type but I do want to try some as a control group this year. I have a local supplier but you might check out this website- http://www.rootsinc.com/products_landscape.html
then, look for a distributor locally.
Some interesting science behind this stuff. Of particular interest is their "Transplant 1-Step" 2-2-2 product. Anything to reduce transplant shock and get some robust roots is worth a shot.

From everything I've read about them they do appear to be "Organic". The Mycorrhizae are without question. A lot of misconception currently exists about fertilizers and their use. I doubt if a plant can determine (for that matter even care) if it is fertilized with organic or mineral-based fertilizers. Plants can be under-fertilized, or more commonly over-fertilized with either source. I rarely see members mention the guaranteed analysis on the bag(s) of fertilizer they use. I can take a organic fert. with a analysis as low as 3-2-3 and fry a plant in no time if I use it improperly. Conversely, I can take a bag of 25-10-8 all mineral (evil synthetic fertilizer man) and used properly, my plants can and will thrive. From the large sampling of posts I've read, it appears that many people are killing their plants with kindness. It all starts with the soil

They are living organisms, not fertilizer. I have not used them on weed, but in the past I shipped sensitive bare root material for a job site and i coated them all with bio-fungus. I had nearly 100% survival rates.

Good Luck.

Sounds like similar experiences I've had. Had a humongous install job with over 150 Leyland Cypress(10-12 foot monsters) and lost a total of 9 after being treated. I think those were improperly installed anyway (too deep). Sorry. I guess I got a little windy on my soap-box talking about ferts since it does have a tiny 2-2-2 analysis. I try to avoid bare-root jobs but sounds like a good idea when you gotta do it and what better way to try it out than the cannabis crop?

i bought some about a week ago. i must say the roots have been growing like crazy, but i dont think thats what the fungi does. it allows the plant to take up more nutrients because of the increased surface area of the roots. i definitely recommend using it.
warning: if you are using chemical ferts along with mycorhizzae, they will die. stay all organic

No worries.... I was doing back then wetland mitigation and grew/moved/installed millions od bare root stock. far different from the tree business and yet similar  Yah other peoples install is always a worry. "you're NOT going to put them THERE!!??"

Yah, i think that's what they do, make the best environment possible for the roots so nutrient uptake is far more efficient. Next time I use some for bare roots I'll put some aside for a grow.
