Im very glad to see u achieved the results u did!
Your grow was in the exact same manner as my current grow. Except i have 15 clones going in a 20 gal container, rather than splitting them up in 2 to separate 10 gals. Good job btw

Lol this is like a big slap in the face to the people who whore up threads saying OMG "tap water has chlorine in it will kill your plants" "dont put two plants in the same container it one will kill the other" "dont reuse soil it will kill your plants"You are the man thanks for the expierement good job.

I like the devil's advocate thing going on with this thread, but in reality this doesn't seem to violate the rules very much:

1) 10 gal = 5gal per plant which is plenty
2) Used soil can have a lot of nutrients in it already
3) Low levels of tap water (once a week) will not have enough chlorine to kill the plant, and plants even need *some* chlorine
4) Plenty of room for stretch means its not really a problem

In another grow situation, going against the accepted practice could lead to a disaster, but I think this is really a good example of what those rules are meant to do - guide the newb away from disaster. If you do it right, those rules are not so important.

Damn you must be super stoned 10 gal = 5 gal per plant? he has 19plants in 20 gallons total container lol

oops, dyslexia. i read in two 10gals as two in 10gals.
That would be just over 1 gal per plant, which is a little low. Mythbustin' for sure.

Actually makes me wonder if low water conditions allow smaller soil space. Ive seen some huge bushes growing in 5 gals, like 2in diameter stems. They were drip irrigation, so maybe how you water affects the soil space requirement?

All this plant food, planting them in their own area and all this other stuff its all just to help. it can be done with plain water light and soil.
