N deficient or nutrient burn

You're going to grow in glass? How are you going to block the light from the roots?
what i was gonna do is put a few black socks over the glass to cover it. i'm going with black buckets now instead.

If they dropped the ball I would beach to customer service until they comp me free overnight. :-)
yeah that's what i was trying to do but i was just running in circles with them, because they don't speak a word of english.

When I run into Amazon customer service road block bullsheet. I go to Twitter and start making tweets about Amazon fuxin up my order and within 10 mins I get a CS mgr reply on that tweet. If they take too long I tweet beezos directly and for sure get a reply.. :-)

Good plan, plus you're going to need the jars to cure the bud, and you'll get there too, it just takes a minute so hang in there, good luck!

i got curing jars already, thanks for the luck! seems like i'm gonna need it on my side this time around. last grow was just about flawless, and it was my first so i thought i wouldn't have too hard of a time jury rigging this... i was wrong. very very wrong

i've been dipping them in 2.5tsp 4% hydrogen peroxide/gal every morning, as well as giving the roots a good rinse.

inside the netcup is clay pebbles, or as you call them hydroton, yes.
the net pot is getting caught by the rim of the cup as it's 3in, and it has a small airspace, then water at the bottom of the cup that the roots drink up. click here for a better explanation
i don't know what you mean by hand feeding, and if i put drainholes in my cup the water would leak out and the roots would dry out then die. so no drain holes lol.
how can it be overwatered in hydro and are you sure there isnt a cal problem?? i'm 99.99% sure that's what it is, foxfarm's lineup contains little to no cal, and i don't really have a liable cal source atm, so it just makes sense to me.
if i fed at 1/4th stregnth my plants would perish from starvation, the salts build up at the bottom of the water, which is why i think i have to feed so much.
i'll start using bottled water instead of tap.
Why would 'salts' build up at the bottom? Do you not have an air stone to provide oxygen and movement for your water? Is your ph correct? I ask because if something is building up at the bottom, it could be calcium bonding and forming an insoluble compound. There seems to be no calcium issue at all with the plant or magnesium. Seems to be oxygen deprived at the root level. Not sure why you would think you are low on N because you're low on Ca? One has nothing to do with the other, and the two elements don't interact with each other. That yellowing to me seems like it's a leaf that's growing under the canopy and in the dark, plant may just be getting rid of it.

no i don't have an airstone, but one is on the way. you'd know this if you read my previous posts.
my ph may/may not be correct, i have to recalibrate my meter. you'd know this if you read my previous posts.
i never said anything about calcium/nitrogen being together, i was listing the two as two seperate problems, as there's rust on my fan leaves, as well as yellowing.
the yellowing is an N deficiency, it has spread to the leaves on my nodes, that also get plenty of light.
please read my previous posts before asking more questions, as they may very well have already been answered.. multiple times.
sorry if i seem like i have an attitude.. i hate repeating myself. biggest pet peeve of mine.

items still havent shipped..:wall:
What is holding up the shipping?

Did you check: send as few boxes as possible or send item's that are ready to ship aka many boxes?

I stopped using send few boxes and never had a late order again.

Only time now it stalls is when I order items with wrong prices like a 3x3 tent for 7$ + 21$ for shipping. Or 300w led for a 1$, 8 site cloner for 18$. Etc. Yeah I hunt mislabeled sheet everyday and usually find some.

5/10 items they cancelled the order but sometimes it slips in like the cloner(s) took 3mos for them to send, ordered 3. The tent came after a back and forth with the seller for a week.

Bunch of random sheet.

Yeah I had my order of hydroguard and Bud XL delayed over 7 days, just receiving them today. When I complained, I was only offered overnight shipping(which was sent Sunday and came Wednesday... WTF!!) and 5 bucks credit. Meh oh well...

But onto your problem... it seems extremely likely that your roots are oxygen deprived. Until you can properly oxygenate your water, your roots will stay very small and weak, leading to a cascade of issues ranging from root rot(good possibility) to a lack of fibrous root hairs absorbing the proper ranges of nutrients.

You already seem to realize that soil nutrients simply do not work well for hydroponic growing, and unfortunatly Fox Farm is perhaps one of the worst offender of being so difficult to properly use outside of soil, without adjusting levels and using additives to get ratios in order.

Lastly, you need to REGULARLY calibrate your pH meter or get one that lets you know when it needs to be calibrated and once your ppm meter comes, keep track until your completely comfortable with your strains and nutrients! I wouldn’t be surprised if your current ppm, atleast before you lowered your dose, was nearing 2000 ppm. Honestly, at that size, with nutrients in a proper ratio, you wouldn’t need more than 400-600 ppm in veg, atleast for small-medium sized veg plants.

But I would say if you can get an air stone providing good oxygen to the roots, add 2-4 ml/gallon of hydroguard, and switch over to a proper hydro nutrient (and get ppm in a good range) you should have a good-great chance of returning it to good health.

as long as amazon stops jerking off all over my fucking items i bought i'll be fine, but it doesnt seem like that's happening, as they havent shipped out today and it's supposed to be here between today, and the 18th.
EVERYTHING you mentioned i need is already being shipped.

If you have root rot there's no guarantee you can cure it, and if you go into the bucket with it you could end up with weak sad plants. I would think about grabbing some potting soil locally and planting at least one of them. It would fare better in a soil like media and fresh cuttings could be taken once the plant gets a little bigger. Once you get clean clones then put them in hydro.

If you can't get clean clones with those cups, switch method to aero cloner, or humidity dome with rockwool, root plugs, etc.

i already have new white roots growing taking over the shit brown roots. if i'm being honest, id rather restart from scratch then plant anything in soil.
i'll take clones once i top, i have a female plant that has 4 clones waiting to be snipped off, just need to go out and get rockwool cubes or rootplugs, i already have an aloe plant that i plan using as cloning gel.

anyway, my plants seem like they're gonna make a recovery, they're establishing a newer root system, one of them have shown that she's a female (purple frosting) i'm thinking about trimming the roots a bit here and there, not too sure if i will or not.
