.. anyone seen this crap yet?
seems n. korea threatened sony and the us if they go ahead and allow the film "the interview, a dark comedy staring Seth Rogan and James Franco, to air in theatres..
Sony has received online threats by an organization called hack attack, which threatened acts of terrorism, in which Sony would be held directly responsible for if they went ahead and aired the film..

Absurd that they would send a cyber attack over a parody. I thought the US declared that any cyber attack was to be viewed as an act of war, or something like that...I'm probably wrong though, I generally loathe politics...but seeing as Seth Rogan is my neighbor.........

Sony couldn't ask for better publicity than this. More people will go to see that movie now than they could ever have hoped for. The real bitch is that Rogan and Franco are going to be looking over their shoulders forever. Oh well, that's what you get for making a comedy about killing a psychopathic ruler of one of the only nuclear armed nations on earth, who feeds his relatives to dogs. Now that's funny

do you think any theatres will take a risk and air it? from what i've read, a lot of the bigger distributors have already pulled out on it..

It seems we won't be able to see the movie anytime soon. Sony has shelved the movie. I guess there are even worse emails by the big shots at Sony that they don't want aired in public?

We just had a foreign country conduct an attack on a US company and Barak Obama didnt do shit about it.

Regan would have levelled a palace or two by now...

What the fuck is going on in America?

I was really hoping to watch it on the big screen, I only save the theatres for the real good stuff. But I am sure if they don't release it on DVD its gotta be on the web somewhere. SOMEONE SOMEWHERE will let us watch this funny ass movie. The funniest thing would be if we all tried to see it and then it flopped lol.

There is no evidence that it was Korea, just speculation that the media is told to just go with.
The reason why is because in the movie itself, the Korean leader is assassinated along with his team of uber hackers.
