near noob. trying DWC. thoughts on this set up...

built this to do a DWC with a larger res. this should work, yes? its going under a 3x3 scrog screen.





I love the flip open mouth for easy access without disturbing the plant



Ive never done a DWC but Im assuming that dripping from above until it fills over this tube will do the trick.


Advice. pointers. warnings. questions. everything welcome. thanx for looking.

DAMN, Thats a BIG reservoir for one bucket. You can expand that to like 6 buckets.

Looks nice. Keep in mind cleaning the DWC. How you would go about that. Another thing to plan for is root growth, and future plans for root pruning.

I may expand this eventually but Im hoping to make something that doesnt need to be added to as often and regulates a bit easier.

the root growth is going to fill the 5 gal bucket. where else does it need to go? will I need more room for roots in a 3x3 scrog?

Don't big reservoirs keep things more stable?

It will probly be room enough, I'm just saying things to think of in case. Gotta have a game plan...
