without even knowing the strain its taking a stabid give a week and chop it lol but im not there i cant touch it and i cant smell it so thats a guess but 3-4 weeks thats just dumb

well i grow that strain and i can tell u right now she's a 14Mine's a sativa - Amnesia Lemon from Barney's Farm. I was going by their 8-9 weeks flowering time and my buds look much the same as on their website - not so many red pistils.
This little piece I just cut off from the guts of one of the top buds. It looks to me like the trichomes are mostly milky with a few amber ones. Everything I've read says this is prime time to harvest

I have it growing in a 600 x 600 stealth grow space with humidity and temp controlled, under 300w LEDs. I mainlined the plant to 8 main branches and the bud area on each branch is about 350 long and approximately 40-50mm in diameter at the cola's fattest point

Thanks @rob333. What nutes do you give it from week 8 onwards? Do you stick with a "flower form/swell" ratio or "flower" ripen ratio? Going by BF's guide and what I thought were mostly milky trichs, I was getting ready to wind up this weeknow i no the strain funny enough i grow it lol have been for years and yep 14 weeks

Stop looking at trikes, you got three weeks left, for you strain times run over a week or two and add your extra week and see you in three weeks time.
Plant looks great, stop reading stuff just keep doing what your doing or your next thread will be about flushing or ph or some cannabis bollocks.

Ok ... let’s clear the air .
1. that plant is nowhere ready . Add at “ least “ 3-4 weeks ....
2. Breeders lie .... no matter what the breeder harvest window says it is ONLY a guide. Plants often yield better and have better buds
going beyond estimates. Your grow skill and grow environment for the plants play into the final results you get.
3... regardless of strain .... All flowers will show common maturity traits that will show maturity.
Flower times vary with strains but doneness will be when “ it’s ready “. Like staring at paint dry. Calyx ( with pistils ) will swell , bulk
and show pistils color off and recede ( maturing ) . Leaf triches are always maturing at different times and does not represent the
flower’s maturity.
4. Check calyx areas of buds .... look for an OVERALL AVERAGE of trich cloudiness ... a percentage from ALL BUDS. LOOK for
pistils to color off at 80% or higher across buds ....... sometimes a grower can take the most mature ( usually the upper canopy buds / mains ) to harvest and allow the mids and lowers to continue.
Look at “ harvest ready “ bud pics ... look at the common signs then you will see how much further a flower can go.
Forget that amber bullshit ... some Strains won’t begin amber til after chop , as it dies.
You are on the right path by displaying the pic you have , you just need to look in right places.
