Need a little harvesting advise...

I am prepareing formy first harvest, I am in the 6th week of flowering, and from what I can tell the top 1/3rd of one of my girls is going to finish in about 2 weeks ( for 8 weeks of flowering) but the rest of the plant could probably go another 2 weeks after taht (10 weeks total)... How should I do this?? Does the plant need to be flushed prior to taking the top portion? I am not using organics.... any help appreciated

yes, flush it starting now......... don't worry about the bottom portion of the plant. flush as if you were harvesting the entire plant, then just let the bottom go a couple weeks longer. there are people who have grown plants without ever giving them any nutes at all. only what was in their soil to begin with (backyard soil)

I'm going to try the same experiment, cutting the top cola and letting the rest of the lower buds grow more and firm up. Keep us posted on how this works out!

this is what im goin to be doing aswell, simple clean cut the top cola off, only thing is i jus fed 2 days ago i need to wait another few days to flush then chop the cola after the soils dry

the plan is to harvest the top cola and some of the other top buds at week 8 and then the remainder of the plant at week 10, I will report back when it is done

bigd il send u a pm when iv chopped my top cola coz il be doing it before you do in about 5-7 days, that way at least i can let you know the do's and donts of choppin the cola off lol

lol you know the score haha nah i will deff take pics of the cola its jus the wee bud i snipped of was literally tiny so didnt think was much point of takin a pic lol

I couldnt help it when I went to water today I snipped off a little bud it is drying as we speak they smelled so sweet today not that skunky weed smell but sweet like candy or something.....
