Need a Macgyver idea please

Howdy folks, long story short it's time to dry trim but I injured my hand recently and it's out of commission for the time being. Who's got an idea to hold the bud over the trimbin so i can trim one handed?

Think it would work with a wire coat hanger flattened and laid under the bin with the hook bent up towards the side and rely on the counterweight effect?

What if you hung it from string and put the trim bin under it?

I thought about that but I'm thinking its gonna move/sway every time I try to touch it kinda like a sick joke thing lol

I suppose I could go throw the bin on a chair where its hanging now and try it to see how it goes

I just need 2 toothpics, 3 rubber bands, a 9V battery, and a Ziplock bag.

Next idea.

If you can get these clamps, or similar. Use clamp A to hold clamp B to the bin. Use clamp B to hold the bud.

Edit: Better yet, use a C-clamp to hold one of those spring clamps to the bin. Still use the spring clamp to hold the bud.

Nice! I knew they existed but didn't have a clue what to search for lol. Thank you! I might go ahead and order it. As I was laying here I was thinking I could use one of my locker organizers that I stand fans on and hold the branch on it under my hand and ice pack lol. Now I'm thinking I'll just get a couple days worth done while I wait for it to show and finish the rest

I think I might have some in the house already if I can find them. I wonder if my jumbo binder clips would work. This is gonna be a painful but funny trimming session. Well played! Time to start looking lil

A cheap fly tying, clamp on vise. And a cheaper dollar store spring clamp. Put clamp in vise. Stem in clamp. Infinitely adjustable and easily rotated with a stub or cast. 18 months with my left hand in some kind of contraption.
