Need a satire topic for writing class

I need a topic to write a satirical paper on. Pot ideas work but I'm having a hard time thinking of how to go about it specifically. Help me out folks.
 
all marijuana documentaries are ripe for satire---just watch them and when they say something ridiculous that's your paragraph---easy---use humor and extremes for the last sentence of your argument---in each paragraph :)
 
Write about the "dangers" of smoking weed. You knnow, the savage behavior, complete loss of mind, and violent outbursts that anti-pot ads from the 50s claimed. Make it sound like one of those BS research papers from the 50s and 60s saying people who smoke weed are more prone to murdering and all that other bad stuff.
 
I think I'm gonna do the reefer madness style research look but throw in the stuff about the Prez laughing about the pot votes and the press secretary doing laughing and getting screwed up when people asked the pot questions.
 
yeah I was about to say everything revolving pot laws is overflowing with satire. atleast potential for it . . .
 
I wrote my final creative writing paper on the effects of Scooby Doo and how it was the first pro-marijuana programming. Also went on to state that allowed several generations to not be so afraid of weed that they refused to try it.

Nice man. I've decided to take a reefer madness approach to how pot is causing people to send questions to the president and actually expect a serious response.
