Need advice for lights

Hello, so I’ve been growing with cfls for a while, and have made the conclusion that they don’t cut my needs anymore. I would like some advices regarding lights, I got a attic I can grow in, and I would like to go with LEDs, since hps tend to get pretty hot and also consume a lot of watts, I’ve thought about getting the spiderfarmer sf2000 or the sf4000, the most important thing I’m looking for is heavy yields, like 100-200g per plant, any advices would be highly appreciated!
Note: I‘ll only be using one side of the attic, which is roughly 1m x 1,50m, and I’m planning to grow in 10 Liter pots, my budget is $400

you will have to spend more cash if you want a light sooner, but a new light comes with a waranty, worth its weight in gold. even at a greater cost
if your quick, you may be able to get a 420 discount from a light seller. do a search for spider farmer 2000 and 4000
but even with a discount, a light is goingto take a big chunk of that cash

Spider Farmer's are just overpriced China lights. I got my Kingbrites shipped from Alibaba to the US in 5 days.

Find something with largest footprint for budget, you buy chinese you get what you pay for. At least buy American chinese lights haha! Bar lights or spider types off best coverage, then hlg 650r does 5x5 apparently. Sf 4000 is way over 400 no? Do your research some crappy lights arent crappy, theres a chinese 240w for 70 us plus 50 delivery, a couple of those and your rocking. Three would be better.

Raise your budget area needs around 1000w true watts led. For what you want if not more, l didnt do the math.

You should have done the math.
1.5 square meters is 16 square feet and 30-40w per square foot is typical, so 1000w is way too much, and an SF2000 is less than half of what's needed.

480-650 watts is normal for that size space with good LED, that's hard to find for $400 unless you build your own.

So I guess I’m going with the spider farmer sf 4000, I can’t really go overboard with the wattage considering power also costs money. I don’t live in the U.S, if you guys are wondering. That means we pay a bit more for electricity. I don’t mind paying a chunk for spider farmer LEDs, but nor do I want to buy crappy Chinese LEDs either. The sf 4000 will probably satisfy my needs, since I’ve heard they’re better than mars hydro.

Yah sf is a wanna be hlg light. They’re not bad for the price but still use lower bin diodes from what I’ve seen.

Spider Farmers won’t grow any better buds than Meijius or Kingbrites from Alibaba. The money you save can be put towards your electricity bill. Get 2 of the 240w units to cover your area. I own Kingbrites, HLGs & DIY Samsung strips and the difference in bud quality is negligible.

Asking for help is all well and good but I think you'd benefit from understanding how light, light intensity, and light distribution play together, if you're not yet familiar with this. PPFD is a term that describes light intensity (or photon density) and we know that mature cannabis plants do well with 600-1000 PPFD. Hence, you want a lamp that emits light with this intensity over the area you intend to use for growing.
Grow light brands should present so called "PPFD maps" (which are illustrations showing an area and the light intensity hitting said area) with their lamps. Study PPFD maps from various lamps you're considering to see how well they cover the area you intend for your grow.

We discuss PPFD and PPFD in more details in this article:

Hope this helps!
