Need HELP ASAP!!!!

ok my plant im pretty sure has a Potassium defiency.. brown tips curled up

a neighbor of mine gave me Miracle Gro " All Purpose Plant Food " Water Soluble 15-30-15

Is this the stuff I need or something different???

if you just burn some wood and put the ashes on the soil and water it, it should be good in a few days

are u sure thats what deficiant?..be careful u dont hurt the plant..(althought the miracle grow wont hurt ur plant)...but test ur ph sometimes it has to do with that....smoke on..peace

where can i get ph testers?? and at what level does it have to be at???
