A friend has prostate cancer that has spread. He wants to juice with the raw leaves and I have searched the web but have a few questions about this process. This is serious so please DO NOT answer if you don't REALLY know what you are talking about please. The info on the web is conflicting.
1.The age of the leaf? I've read 70-85 days. My plants are that old before flower. Can the leaf be from veg stage or does it need to have been in the flower room. If it needs to be in the flowering stage how long once in the flowering stage?
2. Do the leaves need to be green? By the time the leaf is about 2 weeks from harvest, many start to turn yellow and have brown spots etc. Does that matter? I'm not sure it is the chlorophyll that matters anyway but not sure.
3.I use organic nutes but I dropped a bomb for mites in veg and the flowering room. I know that you should use organic leaves. We can't find any stricly organic growers as insects are always an issue here. I have tried to wait 2 weeks after the last bamb before I harvest any leaves. I know it isn't ideal. Is there any way to get the residue off the leaf before juicing, ie "fit", soaking?
4.Any other info that someone has would be greatly appreciated. Of course this is a time sensitive issue.
