Hello guys
i,ve been growing two plants
and as they started to preflower it turned out that of of them is a male and the other one a lady
now here is my issue.should i cut off the male?
there is not much distance between the two plants i'm afraid if i remove the male it might hurt the root of the other one.what should i do?
there is about 50 cm distance between the two plants
Here are the pictures

thank you
and since i am a first time grower.why do we have to cut the male down.it is still beautiful.isn't it?
The male plant will not produce the medicine that you want.He will produce seeds. If you do not cut the male plant down he will pollenate the female plant and you will have two plants that will produce seeds instead of the high quality medicine that you are looking to grow.

Males don't produce seeds. They produce pollen that will seed your female. If you want sinsemilla weed, you need to cut down that male.

On the other hand, if you never want to buy a marijuana seed again, keep him and let him pollinate your female. You'll get hundreds of seeds and can store them in an air-tight container in your freezer.

You'll still be able to smoke/vape the herb -- you'll just have to go through that old deseeding step, just like in the '70s. :)

Seeding your female won't affect the smoking quality of your weed. It might reduce the yield a bit because some plant energy has gone into making seeds. But back in the day ALL weed was seeded, and it doesn't create a weaker high as long as you harvest at the right time.

The biggest issue most people have with it is this: if you're buying weed by weight, which you are, you don't want to be paying for seeds that might be in the bud. You can't smoke them, and you have to go through the extra step of removing them, so why would you want to pay for them? Sinsemilla buds are 100% smokable, as opposed to seeded buds, which might be only 70%-80% smokable, depending on how many seeds are packed in those calyxes.
