So i live in a wired area the weather is kinda unpredictable in the fall. I live toward 40 north on the east coast. I already plan on doing some auto white widow to see what happens and try some of those super autos by stitch but I cant find a good photo period plant. It can get over 100 here for days at a time lol. I didn't have any problems with it this year but i just used random bag seed but most got eaten by deer and gofers before i got chicken wire up around them and the plants that did save were so fucked up it took forever for them to recover and by the time they did they flowered but sorry im rambling lol...
But yeah Ive been looking around at grow journals and seed banks and stuff and couldn't find a lot of guesstimate harvest times. I know there's a ton of variables at play but does anyone have any suggestions of good yeilding starins that can survive some heat and finish before mid october?IMG_3678.jpgIMG_4609.jpgthe two main colas of my master kushIMG_7732.jpgsome random bag seed the got to like 3.5 feet than showed male :( but i started late in the season and it wsa my first grow lol

charnobol, blueberry, hashplant or power plant. Widows do great in hot or cold IMO. also Blue widow. WW/bigbud. Or a new one dinachem. You order it and get 2 free white widow seeds and another freebie i got blue widow auto. But some others c-99, red dragon. Any good indica will suite you. Mine handled 3 nights of 29 degrees and colored up real nice. Go for good producing indica dom strains. A shade clothe helps for heat too.

One thing...
Blue dream is clone only....don't expect the ones that Humboldt seed co sells to be the same thing people here are talking about....
Good luck

Strait up Critical Mass... I swear to you the potency issue with Big Bud or whatever it was has been worked out. There are phenos but all finished before oct 15. The keeper was done around end of September.

those look nice......i was just out at my spot for next year well atleast my new spot lol and i should be getting 10+hours of direct sunlight a day so i should be able to grow some monsters next year but i got to do alot of work to clean it out and build up some barriers so its harder to see into the little patch of woods in the middle of my field lol

I'm in MD too and I feel you on the laws and the weather. Weather is strange at best. This yr was a wet one, probaby a drought next yr. As far as strain selection, there is fairly a lot of stuff you can choose from. MD is good till about the end of OCt max. I plan on 3rd week to try to have everything cutdown. The only downside your gonna run into is mold from the contantly high humidity. I have a few strains that are winners here with good potency and no mold issues. Blueberry Headband, Iranian G13
to name a few. Those 2 yield good and no mold whatsoever. Both were finished by OCT 1.

Each yr try a few new ones out to see what works good here in MD. I have my eye on a few fro the upcoming season. Mendocino Madness, Lambo,Romulan. I have a list of maybe 20 I'm still reasearching. Good Luck.

THe suns pattern is constantly changing. I though i had a bomb spot getting direct sun all day but the later it got it in the year it started to fall under the trees untill end of september when i was only getting about about 5- 7 hours of direct sun. I map out my spots the whole year making charts and diagrams of where the sun comes and where it falls, how long, how intense all those things i like to plan way ahead. Thats why this year was a test run being in a new location. I have a good idea now for next year on where i can plant so it will get as much as possible. Just some things to keep in mind.

make sure you look into why the trees died off. and check the soil if your going in the ground. i made this mistake once. walnut tree was there i had no idea they leave off a natural weed killer to weed its self.
