ive heard complaints of FFOF being "hot" for seedlings too but i never had that problem when using it. i use to plant my seeds directly into FFOF and never had an issue.

but im sure some strains might find it hot. just none i grew i guess.

if you're concerned about it you can use FFOF in your pots but dont fill them up all the way...you could fill the top 1/4 or 1/3 of the pot with light warrior and leave the FFOF on the bottom (that way by the time the roots reach down to the ffof it'll be able to tolerate it better.

thats what ive seen others do with good success.

right now im using some plain old home depot soil (no not miracle grow..never use that..its kelloggs soil)

the kellogg is cheap (which is a huge plus) but my plants really love the FFOF better. the yield and quality of my plants have been lacking under it and ive done at least 2-3 grows with it so im sure its the soil. i was just being cheap lol

i can speak for the original amnesia, critical+ and a few others. all were very good. never got a dinafem dud.
