You can do whatever. If you can give her just a few more days before cloning that'd be best, but if you're on a time table then I think you can give it a try.

Soil will compact if it was not properly compacted to begin with. This can cause root sheering, but I think you'll be alright.

Your tips on the new plants are pretty toasty. You really need to get that potassium in there, she's begging for it.

Yeah, you'll be fine...lol. I have only had one bagseed seed end up being female, and I darn near killed it off repeatedly. I let it grow in a window for like 3 months...no nutes, just some egg shells coffee grounds, banana peels and earth worms in the soil---soil that I had found in the back of the garage and just scraped all the spider webs off of...lol---It was gray and powdery with a few chunks and chips off stuff in there for good measure...anyway crappy soil, although the soil got much better as we went along with the organic materials and such---and the worms didn't hurt...Anyway it got knocked over twice, both times I was sure it would die...Then finally I was like "holy crap! we gotta get this thing out of the window!"...It was 4 ft tall...so we set up a closet and moved it in, got one of those big flouro bulbs, it's a 250w not an equivalent....Back to the subject, I put it in the closet with the light and let it do it's thing...Took forever. I think the plant grew for almost 6 months total, and it only yielded like 10 grams...it was sad, but it was mine. Going to give it another shot now that I have been able to get a hold of some better things and see how it goes with seeds that have names...amnesia haze being one of them...That is why I was super interested in your posts. Anyway, I am sure the plant will be fine, and I have found you can clone flowering plants---it is called monster cropping, the results I have found so far by way of internet search look very interesting...I gave it a shot and it worked---I got the little branches cloned, but then I kept finding male after male after male in my seedlings after I had worked so hard to get them growing well and I decided to pack it up until I could get some feminized seeds...Hopefully my seeds will arrive soon. I am super excited! I have fun doing the research too though so hey...

I have some monster cropped clones I can show you.

Same plant, about 10 days apart.
Notice the... dozen or so tops emerging from the center of the plant? That used to be a flower. I took this clone probably 3 to 4 weeks into flowering. Definitely post stretch.
Now, this takes time. This one plant might be 10 weeks old at this point, the first 3 weeks are EXTREMELY slow as the plant roots and switches back to vegetative growth. I also took a risk and decided to defoliate and LST this plant because of all the branching. Every defoliation adds several days for rebound, and when I LST'd all those branches splayed apart like that the main stem split a little bit and it had to recover from that as well.

I'm about 80% sure this is a Lemon Skunk Clone... Could be Sharks Breath though.

Snow that is amazing and I love all the little new growth in there....That seems and looks too complicated for me, although If i could really read and understand how to do that to a plant I would love to do that.....That is insane and its going to produce a lot....WOW!!! Is there any good newbee thread to LSTing? I actually started to LST expierement on my own just screwing around, I will post a pic. What is defoliate mean? Sorry for the nooB questions....

Ok here is how my plant is looking after 2 days since soil flushing, I dont know if those leaves that are damaged will recover so should I trim the tips that are dried? Also I am very surpised how my soil is not wet and its moist, I stuck my finger in it approximately 4" and then I checked with my moisture meter, I might be having to water it again in the next couple of days. Should I use 50% Big Bloom or stay the same at 25% of BB or just plain nuetral 7pH water? Thanks for keeping this thread going, hopefully it will help others out there as well as me getting this plant back on track!!! Peace all!!!!!

You can go full strength with the Big Bloom right from the start. And use it every watering. The Grow Big is the one you need to begin at 1/4-1/2 strength. Useing everyother watering. Thats a good sized plant so I would start at 1/2 GB for a couple of waterings then back to a full dose.

here is my plant now 3 days after the flush....

still looking bad but i did notice some new growth and noticed that the upper leaves are looking a little more green. but the leaves that got messed up look like they are shrinking n getting nasty and dry, will they eventually die and fall off?? Should I clip the tips of those that are crispy and fried? My plant looks like its been through a divorce or something....LOL!!!! But hey check out the close up pics i got with my camera, they look good and its showing some new little growth along the stem. Feel free and let me know what you think??? Thanks all for keeping this thread going and helping me through these rough times with my plant. PEACE!!!!:leaf:

clone after you know the sex of the plant.

I am no expert and didn't read all the posts but from the pic it kinda looks like over watering schedule. water when the top inch of the soil is dry, crispy dry. Or may be you brought on the nutes too fast and should ease in to the nute program. super soil has plenty of nutes in it organically.

If you want to know if you over fertilizing just get a cheap ppm meter and make sure your water is around 800ppm for that stage of growth right now i use 200-400ppm for youngsters 600-800ppm during veg and transition and 1000+ during flower but everyone has their own thing... and i am only familiar with promix not super soil which has nutes in it so may be you can lighten up the water ppm's.just dont ever want to go over 1500ppm imo when you feed them..give them nutes every other watering. And honestly I would use organic nutes like animal guano's or bone/blood meal if I was using super soil. but ne way im rambling so good luck 2 ya

I think she looks a bit happier/healthier in your latest pics compared to the first ones you posted. And the new growth coming in quickly is a good sign.

You should know without doubt in about a week if it was simply a case of too much/too fast with the nutrients. And in less time than that if it was a true deficiency.

In any case, she has a lot of vitality in her and doesn't look like a plant that's on the way out or on the road to dying. Keep up the good work bro! She'll produce some good for you.

You can clip the crispy dead parts of the leaf tips off if you want to, just use some alcohol or antiseptic on your scissors prior to using them just to be on the safe side and leave any green/hydrated parts on. Or you can leave the leafs be - personal choice but there is little risk. I cut the completely burned tips off personally so I can better judge any progression of the problem.

Well I think my soil is in decent shape and definately has good drainage because when I checked the weight of my plant its feeling almost light enough to water in a day or two so I am excited about that. Well let hope at the end of the plants light session i will take more pics and she if I can see some more growth, I am also going to take pics with a tape measurer to see how big my plant is, Its definately gotten taller in the last 3 days. Thanks for taking time out and checking and helping me with my plant, i would be in trouble with me plant if it wasnt for everyone here caring and helping newbees!!! Thanks

Mr. Green thumb, Thanks for your advice and input....The reason I wanted to know about cloning is because I am a newbee and I want to see if I can be able to clone a plant. I want to be comfortable and have confidence in cloning. This is a bagseed and this plant has been through a lot. I am growing nothing but bagseed because I never growed anything in my life and this is my true 1st grow. I am learning so much from you all that post on the thread and i am sure all other newbees that are reading this will help them too. My plant for sure would be in worse shape if it wasnt for this thread and the great peeps of RIU!!! Mad Love for RIU!!!! Peace!!!

I did notice today since doing the flush my soil level has gone done some, is it wise or ok to put some soil with worm castings on top filling the level of soil back to its original spot???

:leaf:Day four since flush, looks a lot better, starting to perk up again, I measured my plant and its getting bigger......A lot of the leaves that were screwed up are starting to dry out and the tips are falling off. New growth is coming in and the top leaves are looking much healthier.....Any inputs, advice or comments? Thanks all.....after I get this problem handled, my plant will go into flowering. :leaf:

Looking a lot better. It's fine to back-fill with fresh soil, and yeah, that plant will produce a good amount of smoke if you switch soon.

Thanks Sparka....Thanks to all who is following and giving me inputs:-P
Here are some pics of my plant after tonights lights.....It is definately looking better, I think I am going to put it in flowering soon!!!!

I am thinking to put in flowering on Saturday cause I am going out of town for 4 days. This plant is starting to take off again. and I am running out of space.

My other choice that I am thinking is to wait until the plant is fully recovered from the stress I have put on it and then put it into flowering, probably in 2 weeks. The problem with that is the plant is going to get bigger which means less room for flowering... If this plant is a female I want to Flower it for awhile until it is 100% ready to harvest....

I am in no rush, just want to make sure i dont run into another problem of space.

My tent is 4x2x5
400 watt mh/hps cool tube 18/6
2x 14 watt Quad Spectrum LED Panels (Supl Light)
6" 440 cfm fan and filter
2 small fans
Temps MIN:68.4F 20%rH MAX: 90.1F 60%rH

So as I let it stay in veg the more it will grow in flowering leaving me no room cause my light takes up about 1 1/2'.....So maybe Saturday I switch to 12/12 HPS...
Still thinking any input to help my decision feel free and post. Also let me know what you think about the pics....PEACE!!!:bigjoint:
