With a humidity that low I think your gonna have to spring for a humidifier. I don't know of any ways that will raise humidity to where you need to be.

6' x 10' room that is not yet filled with plants so my humidity is low too.

1st there is a refillable humidifier that I need to refill every 9 hours.

2nd I have an whole house humidifier sitting on a table,$150, that is suppose to be on the furnace. I put a 6" inline fan, $27 home depot, pushing into the humidifier and another 6" on the exit pulling out. It is nice b/c I don't have to refill but still not enough to replace the refillable humidifier.

3rd I laid out white t-shirts on the floor in front of a box fan that does not face directly on the plants. I pour a gallon of water soaking the shirts.

I can hit 50% RH, but it is keeping me home for the holidays and am trying to find a less demanding method.

While writing this I have another idea for increasing the whole house humidifier production. I am going to try putting a seedling mat under the the whole house humidifier to warm that water sitting in the bottom that is taken up the fabric wheel.

I am open to any other suggestions/ideas. Swamp cooler? The whole house humidifier is a miniature.
