Need help. Root problems are slowing my plants growth down

I am not too sure of the pump brand I will have to find out. Yeah the roots are getting adequately sprayed I am sure of that. For a while I thought maybe they are being over watered. I just moved them into the holes that are getting less spray so I will see how that works out.

edit: tried to free the roots up from the pot in hope they would grow vertically instead of horizontal, they aren't catching on to anything, but it's becoming a struggle to put the plant back in the system when I take it out due to the thickness of the roots growing vertically

I'm sorry mate, I can't think of anything else. Temp of nutes maybe or a strain that just doesn't root that much. Pumps running 24/7. Ph around 5.8.Ec around .8 to 1.0. Veg nutes. If they look health then ...................................

Maybe it's where they're on 24/7 sprayer cycle? Maybe with sprayer time off the roots might try to wander out to find more water? I've not experienced that but it's something else to try.
