I got a 62"x36"x20" tent and currently I run from 84-88 degrees and have a 6" inline duct fan as exhaust I am looking at actual inline fans and was wondering what CFM I would need to not be complete overkill mybe get another ductfan?031212163953.jpg

What size light are you using ? :)... What type of reflector are you using? :)... Are you using an air filter/scrubber/carbon filter... How many plants are you growing :)... Using any reflective material on the walls?... Are you using any other exuipment in there other than a light and fan?... Just some questions so we can work towards getting rid of your problem :)

So 6x3x2 is 36 cubic feet. I run a 4" sunleaves inline fan rated @200cfm's in a 54 cubic foot space. My temps are at 77-80, now this is with my ac in the room set at 65 degrees, and no cooltube. Inlines are a bit more noisey than duct fans but are more powerful.

Just add a 4 inch inline. And get a controler so its not so loud since its in ur bedroom.
Or get a window ac. But a small once just to drop it wherd u need. I got 1 for 100 bones at home depot.

I have the same tent desingn. Make sure u have no light leaks from top as i did and ruined the crop. :/
Hope that helps

I'm trying to do the cost affective way aka (cheap) I run a regular winged Hood 250hps with the ballast in the closet if my temps were 65 in the room I would have no problem can't do it but what if I add a another duct fan as intake? I got a regular 6" deal fan infront. Of the intake more air in and the circulation inside should lower my temps I would way rather spend 25 than 100

I'm in an apartment with side sliding windows or I would already have a window AC I'd run my central air that low but my lady would be super pissed 65 in the house everyday

I have my passive intake open, there's no collapsing of my tent at all. Just picked up a mountain air carbon filter too
I built my own filter out of an 5 gallon bucket and ducting I'll look to buy a inline id rather not buy one but idk id rather just have more intake with a duct fan but on the hand id rather be safe than waste my money haha I could always return the Amazon purchase so I'm gonna try that first

Try the least expensive option that you think will work first, I had a duct fan that was 6" but had to put a reducer on it down to 4" which created backdraft. Duct fans work best on a straight line as they were designed for. They are definetly quieter, good luck
