Need help with cloning! Bad

I have 2 female kush plants that are 2 weeks into budding. A friend told me to clone them but said it was too late cause it's budding. Is it true or can I still clone them?

you can still clone them but its alont harder to do. if ur gunna clone clone now before its too ate
