Need HELP with HPS lighting! Found a Deal on some 400w hps?

Alright anyone n everyone that can help me out, due to me being a beginner grower. i am waiting on arrival of my seeds (2 Pineapple Chunk,1 ak-48, and 1 eight ball kush). as i get ready and go out n buy supplies and low on money i need to know what i can get the best of for the cheapest. so i found this site that gives me cheap variety of different lights on different web pages .


I seen this light fixture with 400w hps grow light system, comes with 400 Watt Super HPS MH Grow Light System Digital Dimmable Hydroponic 400w hps mh grow light set kit. 400w ballast, Super High Pressure Sodium bulb, Metal Halide bulb, 19" Wing Reflector and pair of yoyo. i can get this for $129 and only plan on growing 2 to 3 plants at a time and in my spare closet . will this be good enough and price wise ? or can i get something different and just as good for cheaper???


Any comments with help will be Highly appreciated and more than likely be a help to any new grower like me! (type of soil,lighting for veg and flower stage, am i gonna need a ventilation besides some fans??? ect..

is amazon a trusted site to buy lights off of? also do u think 400w would be good enough for 2 to 4 plants ? and one more question do i need to do anything to set the Air cool hood for it to work when its plug it takes care of that??

you will need a 6inch inline fan for the air cooled hood^A 400w, is perfected for 4, plants.

When I grew with my 400w in the closet, non air cooled, my temp was only 85f, but air cooled is best for me in Ca valley

I think that 400w wing reflector would work magicly for 4 plants.. heat wont be much of an issue so dont think you will need a 6" fan, but overkill isnt bad.. If you think you might upgrade later to like a 600w or bigger then buy the aircooled hood, but those wing reflectors kick ass when heat isnt an issue.. have fun and happy growing..

i need closet ideas ?? or im gonna have to get a grow tent,,,i have a open closet i can do this all in but the ventilation is the tuff part about it, because i rent i can add holes or anything to have a inline fan in.I need ideas HELP! i plan on running 3 to 4 plants and getting a 400w hps with reflector.

So reggaerican you think if i get the 400w hps with the wing reflector and get four plants going that heat wont be a factor in the closet? i mean i can have the door open from time to time to cool off and have fans going. and also thinkin of gettin a co2 bag going ?? whatchaa think

i dont really have enough money to buy a grow tent cause i figure if i have a open closet i can use why not?? just the ventilation been the problem on in my head

209 Cali closet grower , i just ordered my seeds a few days ago so should be expecting within 5-7 days now. so thats the time i get my closet going. as of pics i have no yet because i havent took out some useless shit in there so it can be empty(but that takes 5 mins to do). anyway the closet is just big enough so i can fit four decent size 3 to 5gl buckets .i plan on getting the 400w hps light with reflector , plan on gettin it from amazon. if u know any better and cheaper sites to go let me know. as of making the walls reflect not sureeee?? iv herd aluminum foil on the walls work and also painting it white any other ideas?? but after i get the light and the buckets. i need soill and neutss ??? any good cheap suggestion for these???? once i have my seeds my light my buckets and soil and neuts i should be ready to grow correct????? plan on just hanging the Light from a close hanging pole or maybe the wall. and as far as ventilation i was told i can just open the door from time to time with fans running all the time .

First time growing in a closet n just making sure i get all the right necessary things to have my girls looking good and producing high yield with High quality Nugs.


Alsooo will i be able to veg and flowerin n bloom all under the 400w hps light with reflector ????:eyesmoke:
