Need Preventative Advice

Organic Soil Grow

I normally try to avoid indoor summer grows if at all possible, but this year has thrown a wrench and I have to do a summer grow. The reason is I've always battled spider mites in the summer, but never issues in the winter.

My plans are 2 courses of Dr Doom fog pre-grow, separated a week apart from each other. Once growing, I plan to use SNS 209 (5 consecutive feedings of 0.5 TB per gallon, followed by once a week feeding through mid-late flowering).

Other than remaining vigilant and keeping a close eye, and then ordering predator mites if necessary, do you have any other suggestions for preventative measures? I try to stay organic and am also trying to avoid foliar sprays if possible.

Being summer, im constantly in my outdoor garden bringing vegetables inside along with my dog who loves rolling in the grass while outside, which would probably be the source of infestations I assume.

Thanks for any input

How often should you use the neem oil? And I believe that is only effective as a foliar spray, correct? If so, how far into flower is it safe to use on the leaves?
I spray every 7-10 days.

I’ve decided to stop spraying my autos that are now covered in pistils because neem is an oil that coats the leaves.
It’s safe to use in flower it’s just a taste thing

Perfect, thanks to you both, its much appreciated.

In regards to the citric acid, do you use that as a foliar spray as well?
