need some advice, broken top

a few days ago I accidently dropped one of my flourescent right on one of my plants almost completely breaking off the top so I was thinking if I should just cut it off and plant it in a wet rockwool cube and see if it will grow, or should i just leave it on see what happens although the leaves do look a little droopy and it looks like it probably wont make it, any advice would be helpfull

i taped my broken branches where they were almost completely off the stalk and they grew back together,so try it it won't hurt!!
