ok i had a lil problem.....ok i have had 3 huge outdoor plants and had to dig them up so many roots got destroyed and imso fuckin worried they are gonna die. they still have roots but not as many as you would thimk i tryed so hard to dig as deep and about 2 ft from the stalk and all that came up with the plant was a smaller root ball and a few big thick roots so i cut lil slits in the side of the stalk close to the rootball about 1 inch above wet it down then put some rootin powder on the stalk and some around in then put the dirt but around it . do you think they will come back from a big root loss i mean they are 6 ft tall outdoor plants and i know that there is not enough roots to support that big ass plant any advice to the rookie.

I don't think the prognosis is good. Plants don't like their roots being fucked with. I have no advice except not to give up on them until they are dead and pray to the cannabis gods.

Give it some transplant fluid... that should help it with the stress. Superthrive would also work. Also you might want to think about trimming some of your plant, to help it become balanced again. "above ground = below ground ". since you made your root mass smaller, I would trim a bit off your plant so that they arent to unbalanced.

Do not severly prune your plant however, just take some off here and there. But dont do this unless you have some sort of transplant solution or superthrive, otherwise you will just be adding to the stress.

Safest bet however would be to just pick up some superthrive/transplant solution, give it a nice watering and let the roots catch back up to the rest of the plant. all depends on how skilled, confident, and risky you are.

Best of luck with whatever you choose to do <3
