Yeah, sounds fine, but depends. That's definitely not too much light, to put it that way.
You're on the right track for sure with the 60 watter, and combined with the other light that would probably be okay for one plant to veg on. If you have more than one, chances are they'd be happier with another couple bulbs, like 42 watts or so. If you had your current two lights and another one or two, that would probably do you decently for three plants or so.
Basically, get them as much light as you're willing to spend a few bucks on. It's a first grow, so definitely don't spend too much money, but $20-30 on a few good bulbs and sockets is pretty easy and will get you a really long way, and last you a good long time for many grows to come.
Do some reading on here, check out particularly the stickied guides. The other basic things to know about are soil pH (assuming you're doing a soil grow), nutrients, and watering. All that's very well covered in various places around the board in easy to find places.
