wow dud that stuff looks really dank. This plants also appears to be very healthy in veg growth. What r u using halogens or something u lucky rich bastard. I hurd dos halogen bulbs gets u poundage and decrease your flowering time cos its so much lite. Neone hurd this b4?

wow john q that guy relli has poor skills in that video. Ideally you want all your leaf to be lite green color. This indicates vigorous growth and also mens ur buds will be danker cos we all know tha lite green stuff is best.

hey u think i can get some of thos clones that would be awsome. Of course you would have 2 germinate them 1st. Once germinated I suggest spraying your rhynos with dissolved birth control pills to ensure femeninity.

good luck

here is a picture of the sugababylamzbref mother i cloned for vega. see how healthy it looks. how are those working out for u btw?

https://www.rollitup.org/members/johnq-albums-problems-picture4081-sugababylamzbref-mother.jpg
oh it wus definitly tha most dank clones i evur had. They was purple like tha mother there shown in john's front yard pic. remember, u want lite green leaves and if possible, purple stems.

I flowrd tha clone witout any veg time. This allowed for maximum quikness of tha bud growths. John q sends me 5 pregerminated clones every 2 weeks to ma address. This creates a no need for mother and now i can sea of greens my clones.

I put my grow on facebook today so that I could show how gud my skills was 2 my budies. Hopefully some ppls will give me feeedback 2 cos on hur you guys relli dont know wats up.

John q while your clones are awsome genetics ( obviously an f1 hybrid of sugurbaby purple medi widow.) I relli wanna try somethin new.

That rino clone looks unhealthy in that pic. ThE dark green leaves indicate electrolyte deficiency and sulphur burn.

I suggest adding a quart of gatorades and mix it with som stink bombs frum tha dollar store. One stink bomb should be enuf.
Either way thou dud u gotta let me get a few germinates off that.

hth

Getting back to the original question...

When I initially transplant the 1" rockwool cubes to my dwc tubs, I have my net pots sit with the bottom 1.5" of the net pot submerged. I've read that this is too far down and the rockwool plugs may become too wet, but since I keep a big 5" round air stone under every plant, lack of oxygen hasn't been an issue.

hmm yess the consensus seems to be that you want to get your plugs/rockwhool as high in the pot as possible. You also want to still be able to cover the plug/whool with a thin layer of pebbles.

I think you may need to drop your water level once you get a decent root system going on. Extra oxygen cant hurt...unless you forgot you turned ur pump off for hours.

Yeah I forgot to mention that part...now that there are massive amounts of roots growing out of the net pot I keep the water level at least 1" below the net pots

My mate Jeff manicures (cuts) the roots so they only dangle half way down the bucket, you dont need many roots. And if you can get your hands on a bottle of CO2, hook it up to your air pump, roots love the stuff.

He also spends an hour every day chatting to his plants, he has them on 24 hour light and the buds are massive.

Yeah gvega, them birth control pills would be the ticket, but would they not stress my rhynos? My wife's a complete bitch on them.

no dud no way they would stress them unless you use less than 9pills/litre.

yeah usually i talk to my plants about some sort of long term game plan. tell them to get their sh!t togethr when they get problems etc. If i stay in there long enuf its like the same using a co2 tank cus im breathin in there.

nice tip on the co2 pump. I can imagine that wuld relli hook up ur roots.

Ideally you would want to pump nitrous to the roots and add 19ml/gal molasses to your res for maximum results.

Well, here is an update today of my clone from john q. attachd

as you can see, i topped them and they are responding with vigorous growth.

Also attched a picture of my root trimming as per fitz's recommendation.

roots were almost coming out the bottom of my 2 gal bucket so i had to trim.

WOW nice work, they look very heathy.

Picture 1. You're doing a good job of bonsai the roots and the plant, is that strain your sugurbaby?

Picture 2. I like the way you LSTed that sugurbaby, it looks like it'll be near harvesting soon.

I find the heaviest buds are when I use Karo syrup (50ml per liter) the plants can more easily uptake the sugars in the processed syrup instead of molasses, same as humans.

plus it doesnt smell like shit 7 days later.

I would def add some side lighting, maybe 250w halogen security lights, lowes have them on sale from time to time.

Some people cant afford more lighting. Some people have to go to extreme measures when they haven't much money. Take my other mate Paddy for-instance, the poor lad has no electricity in his house, he has to set out every morning with his wheelbarrow, and wheel daylight into his grow room for a solid 12 hours.

actually I use 3 alarm smoke alarms duct taped together for lighting.

john q recommends using a tv remote, which is almost equally as powerful.

the thing is, smoke alarms flash every other second so technically its 12/12.; however john q supplements his daily tv remote shots with a vibrant 5 lite LED flashlite on 24-7. Green spectrum is prefered cos tha plants is green.

This way he doesnt need uncessary cooling fans and he doesnt use his remote all day on the plants.

rhyno clones came today. 3 roots appeared today they look brown and sturdy. I trimmed them due to unnecessary growth patterns. (roots were getting 2 thick)

I will transplant them outside tomorrow.

1- TY, and yess this is the sugarbaby purple widow kush-plant.

2- yeah def looking like they are already needing the final flush.

........estimated harvest = 6 lbs

6lbs, thats not bad. last year my mate Jeff had a harvest of 16BL from a single 400w halogen bulb. He soaked his rookwool in cows manure for 48 hours and packed it into 5 lorry tyres. Place an AK47 seed every 2" from eachother, stacked up the lorry tyres and hung the 400w halogen bulb in the centre, he also drew a sign with an arrow pointing to the light, so the plants knew where to grow to.

this is revolutionary sh!t !

i want to see a ms paint representation of this awesome setup & growrooms.

added 50 ml/litre karo syrup today as per user 24's request. Results were immediate. root sizzling indicates oxygen rich environment. Leaf tips curl towards the light as they enjoy the light.

pics tomorrow of the outdoor germinate transplantation..

Thats outstanding work on them clones gvega. Keep an eye on your PH level with that karo syrup, you'll need to even it up with some garlic, ya know the way us humans have sweet and sour.

I can't go into all the details about my mate Jeffs setup, he told me to keep it secret. Make sure not to mention it to anyone.

As for me, i've decided to order my clone online, i've found a discret clone bank that flattens their sun dried clones, they mail them in envelopes and are in no way conspicuous. Directions... Just add water.

ok ty on the tip about ph. I didnt realize the karo would throw it off at all.

yeah i understand how you feel about bein sketchi and stuff. My boy george harisson from toledo, OH is growin 130 plants in his moms basement on e. howard st.

He always gets on me for not tellin enuf ppl how wurth it is to grow like he is right now.

damn dude that clone bank sounds pretty straight. Ideally you want your clones flattened for security purposes. Plants smell less when compacted into pancakes.

Let me know how the clones work out. btw what type are they? most likely they are terrible compared to the genetics I am working with on this thread.

neways finally today I transplanted those rhyno clones today when i saw the 4th root emerge from my basket of 10 clones.

wataya think?

You couldn't ave picked a better spot for them, they are hard as fcuk and love the snow. I see Hawaiian Snow seedling there too, are they yours?

Well, Terry my sun dried rhino clone came this morning, let me tell ya, the people at that clone bank know what they are at. Stealthy and speedy.

Terry hydrated and germinated instantly when PH 7.8 adjusted tap water was applied, he should produce plenty of good bud for smoking. You should see how healthy he is, i'll take a photo of him now and attach it. I have him in soil at the minute, but i'll transplant him to my DWC when he's about 2 month old.

I'm away for a long weekend so I hope he'll be alright on his own

ya obviously this spot is ideal for hydro.

The trench (ditch) located directly next to the road acts as a NTF system. When tha snow melts it runs down the root at about 30 degrees. (ideal for achieving maximum dissolved helium)

Additional feeding occurs when the snow plow rolls through about every other hour. This also foliar feeds tha leaves as well, which helps boost bud growth.

normally I walk my dog in the vicinity of the grow so that he poop near the trench. This way, when the plow comes by the poop/snow mixture is hurled upon my beautiful canopy.

The snow plow also acts as a fan in that the lateral spray of snow-poop from the truck bends the stems reguarly in different directions.

to answer your question fritz, no, the hawaiin snow genetics are native to this area. The reason I chose this PARTICULAR ditch was because of the outburst of hawaiin snow. With the hawaiin snow budding next to rhynos you can bet they will be a wild cross of the two...thats right! hawaiin snow rhyno!

wow, that sun dried clones looks dank! good to see they germinated instantly, but I would suggest using a ph of 8.5 to achieve maximum poundage. The higher the ph is, the more bud u get basically...

Terry should like the DWC environment. be sure that your sprrayers do not clog however. This is main problems with dwc.
