New Aerogarden GrowJounal **First Timer**

I have yet to pick up a pH tester and suprisingly ive come this far without one.. brita filtered water and Ag nutes.. i started the grow with two nutes. ive had very little yellowing / nute problems so far keeping my fingers crossed. ((I've been looking all night i cant see any clear indicators of sex yet/i dont see any balls.. but i guess they're in preflower still))

I'm going to go with the same setup as you blackaricanboy.

Gonna use the AG Nutes, I've bought a few foil blankets to insulate the inside of the cupboard I'll be using and I've also bought a plug socket timer. Just a quick question though when the lights are out how do you keep the pump running, and does the pump even need to be running 24/7?

Also anything else anyone one would add to this set up?

Well when the lights are off the pumps arent running, i just make sure the res is full when its lights out and they seem to be doing just fine,

geez man shame in oz you cant get aero deluxe, im stuck with original aero which is 2x 26W lights, ive added 2x 28W CFLs and used cellofane mettalic paper to give it a sort of 'see through' greenhouse effect, growth is slow but slow growth is better than no growth

i put my airstone on for like 2 hrs a day and put a fan on them once every few days, set up in a book shelf 2x1x5, 3 growths - front centre, back left, back right.

keep it up look forward to seeing more pics

Ive been on the lookout for sexing ... (thanks for the tip) im super paranoid about it now LOL *im smacked* at this point im not sure what im see'ing .. no white hairs no balls lol.

Wow! 2 hours with the lights on have made a huge difference! Okay guys i THINK i see 2 females and 1 male. posting pics, whats the consensus (sp).

pics 1. fem 2. male 3. & 4. fem (2 is the only plant with rounder preflowers) is it worth waiting a little longer to see what it is?

How bout giving it a couple more days .. Looks like more growth

np np , both plants back right and back left have white hairs as of late last night.. i guess ill be able to tell whether they are full fem or herms but the plant in the front deff has 0 hairs so far not to mention it also has the most egg looking growths... hopefully ill be able to tell for sure soon, im way anxious.

Wow, those look like some dankity dank dank. How is the smell around the grow area since them bitches started flowering? Cannot wait tillI see the next couple updates! Also, like everyone else said, you should NOT kill the one that looks like a male off just yet. It might be a female that looks different since all the buds are different strands.

The smell is confined, as long as the doors closed it dosent get out. Yeah hopefully ill know for sure tonight though on the sex ill defenitly post pics.. Whether its a different strand or not, Per the basics Balls = male lol thats what i think i see, even if thats the case ill still be way excited if i end up with 2 fems. (I started with 5 plants total. 1 was killed because of stunted growth and the 2nd was killed for stunted growth and capacity of AG)

ill be here for moral support im on day 7 at 6 am tommrow i run mine 6pm-6am
it will have the second set of leaves fanned out by morning 75 deg light on 60 lights off doing great better than most i have seen around on this site maby its cause i work at a gardning store and picked up sum good habbits from vertran gardeners and my manager made me a custom blend for it

Update -

the plants we're touching the bulbs so i raised the hood some the back right has alot of hairs but it also seems like their are balls too.. =\ will give it some more time.
