New and need help on lighting.

So I am brand new trying to grow some medicinal for the wife. She has AVN. And our dispensaries are never ever consistent. IT REALLY SUCKS!! I mean for recreational I guess diversity in what they carry being different all the time might be cool But once you find something that works and then it isn't there for the next 3 mths then the medical value of having it legal for meds becomes worthless.
Anyway I have 3 plants started about 18" high. Made probably the typical rookie mistake of buying what I have since learned is maybe called burples. 1000w supposedly. LOL
Anyhow I did some research on some DIY and had kind of settled on one of the F-series Samsung strips. But I stumbled on these strips that seem pretty comparable in price without the work. Can anyone verify for me that these lights would be a good choice. I know zero about led which is why I was gonna follow a grow mau5 or greengenes build. I can build i mean about anything like a house from ground up. But just have never even done any reading on LED before the last few weeks.

Anyway I am guessing these are 3' since it says 120cm not 4' as advertised further down in the ad (not shown here cant post url) but assuming 6 of these in a 4x4 area should work????

Hi, mate. I can't tell you anything about the lights, but 4' is 120cm, so they're not misleading there.

Oh yes not sure what i was thinking. I normally just divided the cm by 3 though that is not exact knowing I have about 1/2" less . Not sure what I did in my head cause its pretty obvious 12 divided by 3 is 4 drop the zero down for 40" and with the extra half inch for each would get me the 8" . LOL

I just got an HLG 100v2 3000k for my 2x2x4 box and it works great!! 2 of those or two HLG 65s would be great

That alot of china suppliers on alibaba seller offer this cheap strips,most of them just be on market for 1-2 years very young, i never order through ali store, i may not trust their young tech . i got my light from a 10 years+ manufacturer,keep the reliable relationship for long time and can have their local fast shipping service, and always get the friendly price to save costs.

Dang! That is one awesome tip there! 90 cm÷3=30. 90 cm is actually 2.95 feet. It's amazing the stuff I still learn in my advanced age. LOL. THANKS AGAIN!

I do have a better option on the strain bar lighting, the SP250 one gets hot around ppl. The SP250 Full Spectrum LED Grow Bar draws 196 watts at the wall and covers up to a 2'x4' area for flowering.This fixture is ideal for a seedling to harvest grow in a grow tent or in a grow room. Use as primary lighting or supplemental lighting. I got this light when I just started and have since moved on to the fluence. However, i still use the sp everyday in my grow and it performs perfectly. If you 6 or 7 of these side x side. It would be exactly the same as the fluence. So its basically like getting a piece of the pie without buying the whole thing. If that helps.

Like grow for fun says, best to use long time sellers on ali, there will be new companies that are legit but a long standing company has more to lose.
If they are what they say then they will work good. However make proper enquiries with them and be sure you know exactly what your getting, most of the time the price shown is not related to the real price. They say 2ft 3ft and 4ft so make sure you get exact measurements of each. 4ft might touch the sides of the tent wall.
I would be happy with 520-600w range of 3ft in a 4x4 , though im not huge on full coverage and I feel 6" gap around the whole fixture would be good. Others would probably go for 4ft.

Make sure you ask exact shipping price and calculate in any tax and import duties because that adds up.
Weigh it up against buying local and make sure you know how many strips per area your going to want, they may be suggesting minimum strips ran hard to make it sound a better deal, but really you want more strips ran soft so you prolong the life and get better lm/w out of them.
