Hello RIU I've been changeing my grow plan about 3 times now, it's getting exhausting. So finally after a ton of bs and set backs finally got it up a rolling :-)

Original setup was powerd by a Solis tek matrix 1k, dual raptor hood and a 1k hps Solis tek bulb.
After tons of reading and seeing some good results from led I pulled the trigger and got 2 1200w led panels. 720w actual draw per lamp.

So lets begin:

Equip
-5x5x8 gorilla grow tent
-2 1200w full spectrum 5w led panels
-Sentinel DEC-4 enviromental controller
-8x24" phresh carbon filter
-8" maxfan
-botanicare 4x4 low tide flood tray
- hydrologic stealth R/O 100
More to add, not setup yet.

Nutes:
-Advance nutrients 3-part gmb ph perfect
-voodoo juice
-b52
-bigbud
-rhino skin
-budcandy
-over drive
A lot of people talk shit on AN but I have seen some good results, so wtf I'm gonna try also.

Strains:
- 2 GDP phantom cookies
- 2 GDP Og kush
- 1 hso blue dream
- 1 dinafem white widow
all started from seed.

Finally glad I can get started, hope you enjoy.

Ok so setup the Led's, there pretty big. 2 cover the 5x5 nicely I'm would think as I am new to this whole led thing. Going to give it my best shot ;-). Plugged them in while standing underneath and almost went blind LOL. Ok all beans have broke ground accept the blue dream. Running them in coco and propagation air pots, and final home will be 5 gal equivalent air pots. Blu dream Should be joining the others by tommorow.

Room conditions are good

Def gonna need some sun glasses, it's gonna be hard to work around the girls from now on. My eyes are seriously burning LOL. Not even staring directly at the light.

Anyways I can tell already the seedlings love the light B-)

Sub'd looks like a nice setup you got there. Those pots make roots like nothing else I have seen, been meaning to get some but I hear they can be messy. Like what you got going on in there though and should be fun to watch. Know what you mean about the glasses, I have clones going under LED right now and I always have to rub my eyes after checking them lol. Keep it green man

Thanks, Havnt had any messes with the airpots, you have to pack the coco in them, if it's loose I can see it possibly coming out of the side holes.

Dropped lights to about 3.5ft above plants, not really seeing much stretch in these seedlings as I do with t5ho. Stems also seem a little fatter than most seedlings I have had. All are doing very good, blu dream should be air-born tommorow :-) so far I am impressed with these led's. Heat is no longer and issue. Also not having to run a 2nd max fan is nice and eliminates noise.

Temp 74-78.5f
Humid 58-60.5
ph 5.8
ppm (500 scale) 1st feeding 140 now 90.

Been feeding twice a day r/o water with 3ml per gallon calimagic. should I start running the voodoo juice now? Or should I wait to feed anything until 2 weeks? Want to get this stuff in the Cocos, heard the myko thrives in this stuff and naturally occurs.

Im not entirely sure when it comes to coco, but i have heard not to start nutes until the cotyledons(embryonic leaves) die off. Apparently they have enough food stored for the plant until it is old enough to have nutes.

I usually just wait about 2 weeks to use nutes, just don't want to rush things, but it's hard o_O. want them to have a good root system. I'll wait tho I'm just so damn excited. All these new toys lol

Its always fun when you get new toys. The only problem is, patience never gets easier with time!!
Yup it sure dosn't. I've killed my fare share of seedlings in the past by not waiting. Put nutes out of site so I dont see them, not pulling them out till it's time to feed ;-)

Sealed all vents on gorilla and put a 8" 90 degree elbow duct and I am pulling cool fresh air into the tent directly under window. Reason I sealed vents was light is coming out of side vents and with the duct I get no light accept out of the 8" duct. When I flower light would enter from outside and I would have to constantly open and close them. Purchased an 8" dust shroom should be here soon as I don't want mold, dust or any of that getting to my babies. Once installed should be zero light and clean air intake :-) putting shroom on the inside of tent.

You are going top shelf here.

I work with mushrooms, and use HEPA filters all the time. I would
love to provide my tent with HEPA filtered air.

I would have to get a sticky mat and use better physical procedures
(I work in my garden...not good some times) but this all together
would allow for very protected grows.

Good luck,

JD

Yeah well I pulled a noob move lol, think I mislabled my GDP beans. Was so excited they came forgot too_Orderd 2 of each strain and put them in seperate paper towels, just didn't label. The 2 phantom cookies have fat little leaves and the og kush has very thin looking leaves. So I switched there lables. Cause the phantom cookies is like 65% sativa so I'm assuming the thin leaf'd seedlings are the phantom and the fat ones are the og kush. Hope I'm right if not will have to wait till flower.

Below are some pics of after the label switch, u can clearly see that 2 of the seedlings are sativa and the other 2 have fat leaves right off the bat. Have read also this can be misleading cause they may change leaf shape as they mature. What is your guys take, drives me nuts I can't determine 100%

Nothing but the best for my bitches..... I really enjoy my hobby :-) the wife thinks I'm obsessed. pretty much work 6 days a week, come home hang out with my wife and tend to my garden. For the most part they live better than I do lol

Hope dust shroom comes soon, just checked the babies and seen a little gnat on top of the coco, I hate pests. I would just buy those sticky paper things to get these?

Nice setup. I like what you're doing here. You have some killer strains going, I'm kinda jealous. Should be some major dankage, I'm in for the ride.
