New closet design...

Hey guys, ive got a friend who is wondering about a closet design... hes keen to probly do 2 - 4 plants but hopeing for a 1lb+ each harvest...

Now hes got around 2 - 2.5M height, 1 - 1.5M wide and roughly 56CM deep closet to work with... Can it be done?

Looking at using a 400WHPS... or either a 250WMH+250WHPS which would be used both throughout the grow.

Now what sort of fans would be needed to cool this size space down? say a 20CM bathroom exhaust fan? and a couple of PC intakes? and a 15 - 20CM fan to help move the air around the room?

Also is there any material which can be added to outside of the grow space to help with keeping the heat from being seen from say choppers etc...

Hopefully can get some help... ty

yea seems big enough... lights seem fine... either will work... i would use the 400 watt simply because having 2 lights at once might be a pain... but if you like.. then do it.... other then that.... 400 watts of light shouldent be significant from a heat sensor in the air... plenty of things in your house put out just as much heat/energy use... if your really paranoid try homedepot.. im sure they have something for it... as for fans... find out how many cubic feet your space is and get a fan that can cycle the air atleast once every few mins... the more the better... EX: space thats 50 Cubic feet.. youd want atleast 25 Cfm fan

If your expecting 1lb+ a 600 would certainly be better, but I would be suprised if you actually met that challenge. Also a 600 in a space that small may give you some heat issues especially if your trying to grow plants that are yielding atleast 4oz each you just simply don't have the head room to grow plants that size. You have a decent sized space to work with and you certainly can start a successful grow here, and although i respect you for your ambition, I just don't think your going to be able to make those numbers.

may be able to make the room slightly larger... but i think a 600Wer will be the go... say a good 25cm exhaust... and a few intake fans... will make a cooltube. it should be able to keep temp down

yeh no probs. I use a 2'x3'x5' tent with a 400w MH, it has inlets at the bottom, 1 outlet near the light and 1 outlet in the roof about 6" diameter with a 6" PC exhaust fan on it. I also have just a small oscillating fan inside fir circulation. got no heat problems.

thinking, 25cm exhaust... pulling air across the light as the outlet, PC fan or 2 as a inlet? or maybe a 15cm 120L/s inlet... and like a 25CM wall mount fan for circulation...

It's cfm (cubic feet per meter) and you need a least an 80 cfm exhuast or greater to cool down a 600w MH or HPS lamp (The temp should be around 75 degrees at the canopy). If the closet is being used as the grow box then the air would have to be pushed outside (like to an open air duct). Get a 600w system with an HPS ballast that can run MH lamps to.... around $200 bucks
