New closet grow!! Few questions!

I've grown before, but never harvested. It all started when my brother found this box outside with 30+ plants in it (flowering). He ripped the males and I cloned the tops of the females. some even had buds . So, we started pretty basic with 6 CFLs and a fan. Everythin was great. So today, I got switchable 400W ballast, mylar and a reflector.

Well... Surprise surprise. my room is stuck at 93 degrees. I've included pictures. I dont know what to do. I even have a duct coming in from my AC. I've heard of reflectors with air intake, but I wanna make sure it'll do the trick. I need my grow room to be 75 degrees.

Yeah dude from what i've learned in my grows is when it comes to heat you can't be cheap... you need to def consider an aircooled hood and some inline fans and ducting to direct that heat away from your grow... just remember Heat Kills! lol hope you get it under control bro!

I'm going tomorrow to see if I can exchange my winged reflector for an airhood. Anyone else? comments?

I wouldn't lower the wattage. If this is possible you can raise the light some. Those small plants don't really need the 400w that close right now. This is only a temporary solution until you can get a aircooled hood, ducting, and inline fan.

Not a solution but just an observation, is this a 2nd floor grow?, in other words are you upstairs growing? Usually upstairs growing tends to be on the hotter side.

So I got my Aircooled hood today. One of the best I tihnk. I dont remember the name, but the temps stay at about 80, which isnt perfect but it's pretty ideal considering they were 95+. Will keep you guys posted. New pics coming soon!

Right on bro... glad to hear it worked... 80 is just fine.... if you can get it lower even better, but if your maintaining right at 80 i would say your cool enough to not have to worry about your ladies burnin up... Congrats!

Damn, for living in a single wide trailer, you have quite the setup. Certianly plenty of air circulation. Plus good lighting. I like you will be golden if you can keep control of those tempatures. You plan on using any nutrients at all? Good Luck to you!

your setup is looking good but what is your light schedule for the plants and which nutes are yoy planning on using.

Well right now it's 18/6 becuase I found some females in the wild by my house and they need to develop a good root system. I heard when in darkness the plant secretes a root hormone. I also watered them with a root booster today. The more roots the more the plant can hold! Umm.... As far as nutes.... I wanna go organic... I'm not sure thought. I dont know much about nutes. Every plant I've ever had either ended up dying or being male. I used std miracle grow before and they were beautiful...
