Yep I've applied avid. The good news is that people have broke it up into smaller (much cheaper) bottles on ebay. I was planning on sending for some forbid too. Is the sns good for broad mites also?

My man. i caught a serious case of broad mites without bringing in anything from the outside. started all fresh from seed. it was terrible. its all pretty well covered on here too.
i tried 10 different things i swear. and ya wanna know what works. its made right here in the good ole mitten
Its either call EPIC leaf shield or WIPE OUT now. it started off as Zero Mites and the shit works awesome. its avamectin (I'm sure I'm spelling it wrong) but its either a bacteria that produces and enzyme or just the enzyme but either way an enzyme makes the mites sick. its bio warfare !.
i used mighty wash in between treatments of Wipe out/epic leaf shield. mighty wash will kill any soft bodied insect so its just kinda handy to use every now and again anyway.
but thats the cycle that got me free and clear. Wipe out is intense you need to water with it and use a ton of it. $200+ worth of concentrate went into my room and mine isn't all that big. worked like a charm tho. this stuff works for spider mites too if you happen to be in trouble with those ever as well.
il never grow without a bottle or 2 of this stuff on my shelf ready to go. I've battled mites several times over the years and this was the first time i ever felt confident they are actually gone.

Forbid 4F works. It dries the fat cells up in the bugs. Awesome shit. Bayer make potent shit. Bayer made the gas for the gas chambers back in ww2 so if theirs a problem they can kill it

As far as bugs go. I guess I never had anything serious but Mighty Wash seemed to do me just fine. If possible I usually isolate foreign clones to fight/determine bug problems ahead of time. Then use Mighty Wash as a sort of Preventative Maintenance. Simply doing yard work and not changing your clothes can destroy your garden.
Just my 2 cents.

i kid lol i get what your saying 4bid was my next stop. i was actually researching where to buy it when i found the wipe out. People seem to be as afraid of the wipe out as they are of the 4bid soo idk it guess its apples to oranges and i think they are about the same cost too.

You can find a 4 pack of avid,forbid,and two other top shelf miticides for 100$...I tossed my whole garden few months back from broad mites n just harvested bug free crop. I used to say I never would use this stuff until I lost 3 months of work n whole crop..genetics I drove all over the state to acquire ...kontos I hear is good too..that us included in the 4 pack

Thinking it was heat stress I lost a lot of potential buds and months of work. I lost a couple good phenos. Did save a couple though. Nuked my whole grow area. Set off two bug bombs and hit the avid. Don't know if broad mites are killed by the bug bombs but I do know it kills bugs that carry them. Now its time for Forbid then no pest strips at night.

I bought the pest strips n never used em...I ran both lights n dehumidifier (which gets hot) no fans or ventilation ...turned on space heater n baseboard heat ..got up to 135 degrees for 14-15 hours three days straight ..bleached everything, twice n used avid on whole garden of new plants twice that were vegging outside for 3 weeks..no bugs! I'm so relieved after hearing bout broad mites being so hard to eradicate ..knock on wood..it wasn't hard at all..or I never had em?

I believe the key here is maintaining an unwelcoming environment so that even visiting bugs do not find a home in your garden. As for a source for bugs, check out the lawns in your neighborhood. They do not only contain copious amounts of all those critters you fear, the stuff being sprayed there has become like steroids to them 
Hell I spray Might Wash on out going plants just to make sure they do not collect anything in transport.
