Gotta love the backpack. Brings back some memories. Moth balls, slug bait, various fertilizers, spray bottle with serenade, spray bottle for foliar ferts, green tape for mending broken branches, cutting tools and water bottle, maybe a topo map and some binoculars ...oh and a roach clip too.

How'd I do?
You know the drill ,lol.

Don't you hate it when the spray bottle of stinky deer stuff leaks in your pack?

The deer hardly ever bother mine.really only slugs and little grasshoppers. Sometimes rabbits and or mice if I put out too small.only a few deer at this time anyway, I watch who else is there. ;)
I have so much sand, I haven't really had many slug problems. Because of my late start, grasshoppers are more of a problem this year. June is our worst month for grasshoppers, and that is when I decided to start. But deer will do a number on mine. Cages scare me because of air traffic. From the start of flower, they don't bother them anymore.

Gallon milk jug with home brewed condensed and partially evaporated human piss. Gotta make sure that cap is on TIGHT!
oh lord that description just had me wrapping the lid with a roll of duct tape for extra protection lol

real happy with this new spot.wasnt expecting it to get sun until around 9-10.after topping some small spruces and limbing some maples,im getting sun around 7-730:hump: there was a bit of a lane i hadnt noticed where the previous landowner had cut his wood road into.he logged off a lot of big pulp in the 80's/90's.the clearing gets east/west sun til about 6pm.ive got one more planter to put together the 6th is going to be in a bag.ran out of lumber and motivation lol

You're Looking good.

Gotta know where the sun will be at a given time of day and where it will be at the end of the season.

Bow saw. They don't make much noise.
