"Kelp me, Kelp you for your money" -Fox Farm Nutrients if your subbing with microbe food, why not go organic?

No experience with organics, not sure where to start, how slow release ferts affect ph etc.

I already use nitrozime foliar. Would there be any difference using the kelp me kelp you as a root drench?

Slow release ferts affect ph? They don't affect me, because I don't have slow release ferts...what do you mean by that?

But really people do fine with Fox Farms(not knocking it,you can do fine with it) just me personally I don't by cartoon bottling...there is a lot of better things to use, seriously try into look into it whats available to you etc

Only thing is im planning to go coco next grow so what would be used just compost teas?

What i meant by slow release ferts was amending ur initial soil with bat guano earthworm casings blood meal bone meal, dolomite lime etc. Like i said i have no idea where to start and how to balance the soil correctly.

I totally agree with the cartoon bottlings.. its hard to figure out whats really beneficial vs a gimmick for sales.

Lol. I think on the latest FF feeding schedule...there are times when according to them you need like 16 teaspoons of different stuff in 1 gallon of water.

Does anyone not believe that's overkill?

Haha if u stick to ff feeding schedule ir plants will turn crispy shrivel up and die a slow horrible painful death. Its super overkill. Only strain ive been able to get close to feeding schedule on was blue dream. It took 80% nutrents. Tried full strength and it burned them. The soluables need to be toned down in use with tiger bloom then ramped.

All in all i usually never pass 2/3 strength and havent had too many problems.

1/4 strength when small 1-2 weeks veg. Usually find that with whats in the soil i dont need that much

Week 3-4 veg i start with 1/2 strength then bump to 2/3 if they take it well and remain there till flowering. Bump veg nutes down to 1/2 a week before flower and start using soluables. I always do the soluables at 1/8 tsp for the first feed then go to 1/4 tsp normal feed for next weeks.

Not much experience with all that new stuff they added

Have to flush a lot? I noticed I can't make it much past 20 days, just started scheduling it at 18 days no matter what. Pots get acidic at the end too. Or more acidic that other nutes.

But I wouldn't say I hate it. Using different stuff this time...through veg at least...couple weeks left to decide on flowering nutes.

No actually i dont flush alot but i dont saturate the crap out of the pots. Had to flush 3 plants once this grow cause i went up to 75% nutes.

I have 3 gal pots typically my watering is as follows:

Week 1 & 2 about a 1-2 cups of nutes followed by water calmag and pro silicate 3 days later same amount. Then i allow the pot to dry out till about a finger deep and repeat.

Week 3-end of veg normally 2-4 cups then a few days later water with same as above in higher dosage. Depending on how its drying out

Starting flower i water about a quart of nutes once a week and in between feedings 2 cups water 2 days later and 2 cups 2 days after.
What ive noticed is the frequent waterings pushes the nutes down out of the soil so that when im ready to hit with nutes again it fluahes moat of the old crap out. Ph and runoff atays pretty stable

As the plant drinka more i slowly ramp up to a half gallon of nutes followed by a quart and a quart of water same additives. Usually keeps thing pretty good . I wouldnt necessarily consider this flushing though. I dont tend to have too much salt buildup in the soil because they soak up most of it.

Btw forgot to add in foliar with nitrozime seems to speed up drinking and nutrient uptake alot. Exploding growth. Seems like its hard to overfeed with that stuff. Its like HGH for plants

Also aomething u might check onto is how fast u are watering. Might be unevenly distributing nutes in soil. I use a 165 gph pump in the bottom of a trashcan wth a 20 ft vinyl line i attached it to a pvc pipe to hold and put a small npt style 90 degree fitting on the end. Its easy to reach everything under scrog and if i kink the line i can water very easy and evenly. Id send u a pic but lights are out.
This i what im reaching under to water lol.
