Blurples will still grow good plants. Usually they are used by newbies and they blame the light. Much like new growers that pick autoflowers and then blame the auto for a shitty harvest.

l used for veg but couldnt get comfortable with them, led florescent replacements do better for me. My bad! Blurple syndrome. Mind l got good set and pushed aside so didnt give much chance. Maybe ill give chance again! Summer is almost here.

Looks really good bro! Keep it up. I started with blurples, they produce good quaility! I have a qb style light now that I really like, to each their own! A bunch of negative people in here, it always cracks me up.
Yeah thanks for being normal. This is my first grow and I know dudes with super expensive lights and they get ~10oz /plant and I think I’ll be pretty close to that and all organic with these lights so if I’m getting the same results. I don’t see the point in getting something more expensive that does the same thing. I mean if I was doing tours and wanted to look cooler than I am maybe.

Yes I could blow your grow away with my 600 watt HPS. One thing those like you fail to understand is that some of us are interested in other things than just yield. I grow long flowering sativas. Some taking 20 weeks to flower. I also make seeds every run and grow smaller plants. I still grow more weed than I can use and give it away for free to my friends along with seeds and starts. In fact a friend of mine stopped by yesterday to pick up his starts. It feels nice to provide others with plants they need for their medicine. The smile on peoples faces is worth more than yield to me. There is something rewarding about helping others. At least for some of us.
So while you're on here stroking your own ego some of us are doing things that make a difference to others. Enjoy the stellar high yield grow you're going to have with those purple lights which are NOT better than an HID. But if you knew anything about lighting technology you would know that. And what did you call me? Oh yeah, a punk.
I'm a punk that doesn't grow for yield but as a hobby, strain preservation, breeding, providing starts to others, etc... I haven't bought weed in over 20 years. I grow enough to keep myself supplied with all I need.
Maybe one day you'll be cool enough to sit at the big kids table but not today. You belong in that booster seat at the toddlers table for now.
Another thing about not being as arrogant as you is that you end up with nice friends. The friend that stopped by to get their plants brought me a nice surprise. This is why I grow and share. My friend brought me some Columbia/Willamette river salmon as a thank you for the plants. It was a surprise. I thought he might bring a piece but he brought a cooler full. This is what it's about for me. Not bragging about some imaginary huge yield you're going to get from those subpar blurple lights.
You people really need to get over this sick weird problem with the color purple, really just look at the plants . . . Or don’t!
