New Grower giving a shot at SCRoG. Any advice or help is kindly appreciated!

Basic Details of my grow are as follows:

I got two clones 16 days after being taken from a couple young mothers on Dec. 21. One is Bruce Banner (Front Right) and the other is Grand Daddy Purps. (Back Left). the two seedlings are just an experiment so dont mind those. lol. growing in DWC using General Hydro flora trio + CalMag + Hydrogaurd. These were topped very young and then I performed a main stem LST almost immediately after topping. I am in my 5th week of veg, 7th week after being clipped from mother and am ready to do the flip to 12/12. I have been tucking the Banner for 2 weeks now and the GDP has caught up to have a nice even canopy at the screen. I did some trimming of the real little stems and leaves last night but am not sure if I am supposed to remove everything including Fan leaves below the screen. I have lots of big fan leaves hanging way down below my screen but are attacked to main branches so I don't want to mess something up by removing them when I shouldnt. I have a couple of the questioned leaves circled below.

If I clear it all out now should I wait a couple days to switch to 12/12 w/ HPS? they are still on their 18/6 cycle currently with 600 watt MH.

Here are some photos of where I am at currently. Thanks!!

As long as they're alive. Leave them alone. If they wilt and look sick. Then pinch them off or wiggle the stem. When she wants to get rid of leaves. The leaf stem will easily snap off the branch. Other then that. Don't mess with it.

You want to have your screen/net around 50% full before flipping.

I would leave anything that's healthy, once you flip and it's set up you can then remove everything below the screen.

It's only my theory but I expect the root ball grows bigger with more foliage to support above, the more foliage creates more perspiring = more nutrient uptake, more Co2 absorbed, more light collected etc...
Leaf them alone lol!
