Well I give up on this thread before Someone gets butt hurt and I get banned. To the OP good luck with this grow I will check in every once in awhile to see if your growing anything but until then good luck.

Show me Pic or video proof that white light can flower a plant then you will have your proof. A chart proves nothing at all it just a wavelength until you can show us a plant flowering under white light then you have no proof.
But like I said I'm done with this thread so stop trying to egg me on.

I'm sorry, it's like we're egging each other on. Almost everything you say makes me angry.

So did you not go through those last two threads I just posted? There are plenty of pics.

Yes I did but to be honest the leds are doing all the work and led's are a mix of blue and red light so it makes perfect sense.
I'm not trying to start a war between lighting methods and my intentions were not to ramble on like this but my original post was he is trying to grow to many plants with what he has and I made it clear to him but this is his thread and his money and if he wants to waste it so be it. I don't grow with gimmicks(LED CFL's or fluorescents)as these methods are only really good in a small grow(unless you have a lot of lighting). but to each there own.

I only skimmed through this thread....but didn't see what I feel is the right answer to your low-heat low-cost lighting options.....T5's.

Get some 4-bulb T5's and use 'em for side/supplemental lighting. You can get 3000K bulbs that are pretty close to the red spectrum you're shooting for. I personally prefer a mix of 3000K with 6000K.

I've gotten all my lighting on Craigslist for pennies on the dollar.

The LED's are doing all the work? The second two threads are 100% LED grows, of course they are.

HPS is Yellow/White, Philips CDM is White, the sun is White, some LED's are White, LEP is White, fluorescent is White, and all flower perfectly adequately. I'm not quite sure what kind of proof you're looking for, man. And, "...unless you have a lot of light..."? 1000W of HPS is "a lot of light," imo. It's no different. If you have a large space you need a lot of light.

LED's flowering a large area.

Agreed, he needs more light for that space. Even the OP has admitted and knows this.

I'm done too, we're both just thread crapping at this point, and conversation is going nowhere fast. Mods could just delete this entire page and no one would care.

So I could not resist, took out the tweezers and dug in one pot. The seed has sprouted!! I can only assume the others are doing well.

Best photo i could get...
dont be surprised if it dies now.. you need to leave stuff alone.. germ it paper towel method, plant in soil with the root nub down and then wait... dont dig it up and check it...

your not going toi be able to wait for curing if you cant even wait for it to get above ground..

If there's only one thing you'll learn on your first grow....is patience. It was the hardest thing for me. The only way I don't mess with my plants more is that I have numerous plants in various stages going at one time. It keeps me busy enough to become a bit more patient.

21 of 25 sprouted. 84% germination rate. Not bad but those 4 seeds cost $40.

Bound to have a few that won't make it, read to expect 90% germination rate so not bad.

And where did you get your seeds for 10/seed? Or what kind are they?

But you should post pictures if it's not an inconvenience. And if you have the money you should add LEDs or the T5s like someone said. They will help get the edge plants cause you can tell in your picture that they aren't going to get nearly the light the middle plants are getting.

I posted pictures and explained my seeds in the first two posts. I even linked to the seed supplier, Barneys farm and the strain LSD.

I agree perimeter lighting needs an upgrade. LEDS or T5's is what i will do when cash is there.

Here is what i have now, 21 of these. seedlings.jpg
