Hello hello every 1 new to this but been reading on here for ages,I jus signed up as am struggling,started up with cfl closet grow then 400w now 600w hid grow was to hot in cupboard so got the 120 loft tent am running a fan inside blowin on plants with ducting going from a window to tent and a Quality RVK 150A Carbon Filter Kit drawing the hot air out but its still 31degress this is way to hot isn't it I don't know wot I'm doin wrong can any 1 help thanks alot
New loft tent with 600 hid is getting too hot please help

or cooled reflector, which reflects better than a tube.
stinky air > filter > reflector > inline fan > exhaust
I have a 3 x 3 x 6.5 tent with a 600 watt hps and cooled reflector. The temps in the tent run a few degrees warmer than the temps of the room the tent is in.

Trousers is correct, a cool tube will help but an air cooled hood will work better, better cooling and reflectivity, Ive been using the HTG's Euro Reflector and have been very pleased: (-->CLICK HERE<--) That's a pretty good price but you will find a better deal on Craigslist, mostly used stuff but when it comes to hoods who cares as long as it works, good luck.
